Over the weekend... My Tundra is an SR5 with the bench seat. Installed auto dim/homelink/compass mirror from Bob's mirrors. Found constant 12v power and ground in overhead console for the map lights. Had to run 1 wire down drivers side pillar to the fuse box for switched 12v power. Not too bad... Installed new pillar trim with grab handle. Installed Prodigy 3 brake controller with ESP mount. I tow a 4000+ lb. boat and didn't want to chance it with the factory controller after reading about the known issues. Installed TRD rear sway bar. Next up is the ESP plastic underseat storage organizer. Also have Tuff Country 2" spacer lift and diff drop waiting to install. Not sure If I'm going to use that or go with a 3/1 kit with wheels/tires... My 3rd Tundra and this one is bad ass!

Nice Andy. Was the mirror an OEM part or aftermarket? How much did it cost? And you should do a new member intro and say hello to everyone. Welcome bud.

Thanks, I will. I bought the mirror new from Bob. Gentex-536. OEM supplier. I think it was around $150. I had it installed in my 15 Tacoma. It was plug and play. Took it off before I traded in the Tacoma for the Tundra. I was surprised to see my Tundra did not have the mirror connector in the overhead console... Guess the SR5 with bench seat (Non SR5 upgrade trucks) don't have the wiring in place. Easy install though. Just tapped into 12v constant and ground from the map lights and ran 1 wire down to the fuse box for 12v switched power. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

Oh one more... Installed the Toyota factory bed step (AMP research). Best price I found was on Amazon, $170 free shipping no tax. Didn't bother with replacing the bumper support bracket . Just cut a small section of the existing bracket with a grinder/cut off wheel and bolted it up. My 15 Tacoma had the bed step and I really missed it on the Tundra. Pics coming...

It was just another beautiful day in the desert ..until it wasn't.

Shortly after this stop, I acquired a nice gash in the sidewall of the passenger side rear tire and had to do a swap on the trail -- good thing I had my spare; another excuse to add to that list for getting new tires as soon as possible.

The tires have like 25% tread left and I was driving pretty recklessly through some sharp rock areas, haha.

I finally got around to swapping out my reverse lights to LEDs, so now all my lights are such. ...

Oh I also pulled a trigger and ordered a 2017 4Runner Pro
It'll be the "wives" vehicle replacing her Rav4... my heart will be over joyed once they are both in the drive way.

    ohhhh the mods!!! :curls:

    Got flex?

That's about 13" of maxed out shaft extension with the tire an inch off the ground. Now I just need to get the front to come close to the rear in travel. Long-travel drop-bracket lift here we come!
