Thank you! I don't actually have any shots straight from the side, they're all kind of at an angle. I can take some later this evening after work and post them here for ya though!

    Looks good indeed.

    What offset are you running?

Email direct from Method stated they weigh 24lbs, their site shows 24.7 for the 0 offset part number. The +25 is listed as 24.1, the fact its an 8" wheel, not the +25 offset makes it lighter . So, .6lbs for that extra 1/2". Both values were less than the actual weight of mine. To be exact, my scale show 26.4lbs for the MR316.

So, while I and everyone else been waiting on prices I’ve be in good moods and bad moods. Toyota dropped the ball on coming out, than on website for prices and models. I said good buy to my 2020 TRD Tundy with every ops you can get before step to Pro model. This msrp at $52,114.

now 2 years later my truck only 18k seen values and I’m like shit. Let trade up so I waited until I finally built one on Toyota. I put everything I had in my 2020 and put in 2022, I could add exhaust and I believe at the time I was building the a security safe basically 1500 I was missing. 63k  I shut IPad off and said f Toyota I’m going to bar, can’t afford it but still waiting for the Pro. In meantime I heard about tundra capstone. What the hell is that. And I seen on Toyota but basically said squat.

Finally today I built a pro and a capstone. Here’s my results:

    22 Tundy PRO Priced
    6202BEB1-2E70-4CC4-9625-7316511BD786.jpg
im like fun, more like FU

    Tundy Capstone priced
    A155C2B4-AE84-46AA-9A7B-A13F42721E69.jpg
Now I’m dbl FU, what’s this world and who’s got money because they forgot about me.

    Here my conclusion:
You want me to spent 20-30K more in 2 years for new design on the tundra? Nope, what bank does 10-15 year 0% loans? Payment is like 1200 month. Maybe more.

Not diesel, and still only gets 19mpg. Shit I got that in my 2020 tundra. I had 05 ram with cums 5.9 pushing 25-26mpgs grant put fastback system on. As much as I would love to buy one just can’t afford it. And it pisses me off because I bust my fucking ass for what I have. Family man, 2kids, wife, dogs, house. American fucking dream.

bought this taco 2months ago. 22 new color blue crush it’s ok. Only reason I got it, I’m saving $160month and lease it 36month, plus cut 3yrs off payment. With prices on The Who the fuck knows list maybe I have a chance to afford gas maybe that 2 extra beers. But I need to drive new tundra see how it actually handles.

    ‘here’s taco
    4CC38456-2A04-4349-8910-ED0EBBC212DB.jpg

1st year out probably nothing on them. Year 2 I’m hope.

but maybe the best thing I should of done is kept 2020. Wife’s made but she’ll get over it. But again it helps the bigger picture with the everything going on in this worldwide shit with War going on, gas is pushing 5, crooked presidential politics shit we can’t see<, see what happens, maybe start go fund me Tundy page, call Toyota and say I’ll sponsor give me the 437hp/583tq, rob the rich, work 24/7, but we’ll see,

im here for today but tomorrow isn’t promised. Only thing I did right is stayed with my Toyota family. (Since 2005 and drove t100 Tundy came very long way since then)

These are their 0 offset. It’s got some decent poke, more in the front. Hoping once I level it this week it’ll look a bit more natural.

Not sure what his has but here's a pic of mine with 30% all around and a visor strip. I feel like this was a good percentage without feeling too dark at night.

Every vehicle I’ve owned always gets limo in the back and 20% (or equivalent) on the front. It’s a must! I feel naked and the sun will get me and melt everything inside lol.

Has anyone removed that gloss black vinyl on the A-pillar yet? In my opinion, it would look a lot better without it

I think some SR models even come with out any wrap on the a-pillar.. here is an example i found on facebook. Not mine. Honestly the oem wrap is not the best quality.. i took a close look at the edges on mine and i can certainly see chips along the bottom of the a-pillar.. we'll see how long it lasts. Personally I kinda like it, resembles my motorcycle helmet visor.

The SR trim does not have the vinyl wrap on the A & B pillars. If your truck is one of the 4 "base" colors (White, Midnight Black, Magnetic Gray, or Celestial Silver) then you can just go to the Tundra builder on Toyota.com to see what the truck looks like without the black vinyl on the pillars.

If you want to see additional colors with the vinyl removed...there has been a few people that have done it on the various FB groups. Search some of the FB groups and you'll eventually find a few different trucks. I know I've seen one in Lunar Rock floating around with the black vinyl removed.

IMO it looks bad without it, but to each their own.

There's even a guy who went the opposite direction and wrapped the entire top of the cab & roof in matching gloss black. THAT looks really strange. To each their own, but when I see that truck I keep expecting it to turn into a convertible or something.

I personally like the pillars blacked out. When the OE fails I’ll either have it replaced under warranty or have it redone. Just depends on the failure timeline

Good on you. I didn't have to secure the fabric trim with anything when I folded it back after removing the mud flaps. I just folded it and squeezed it to put in a fold "crease" in it. Then reinstalled the 3 (or 4?) 10mm screws that held the mud flap on. The fabric is still tucked away a week later.

If it ever pops out, I'll try some carpet tape or just poke a hole through it to secure it with a zip tie.

Very cool, quick question i meant to ask you before, but did you end up buying aftermarket tpms sensors for your new Battle Borns? Or did you have them remove the factory sensors from your stocks. Curious if the truck read the new sensors without issue? I heard somewhere that sometimes aftermarket sensors would have to be reprogrammed... at least for the 2.5 gens..

I just had the tire shop swap over the existing TPMS sensors onto the new wheels. I thought about buying a second set of sensors, but I'm still undecided if I want to sell or keep the OE Wheels & Tires. If I end up selling them, I didn't want to waste $60 per wheel for new TPMS sensors.

Good deal, ill do the same then. I guess we're paying them so i dont have to feel bad lol. Felt bad they had to unmount the tires and remount them just to get the sensors out.

Don't feel too bad. They just have to air them down, pop the bead, take out the stem/sensor assembly, slap in a rubber valve stem, and then air them back up. They don't even have to fully remove the tire from the rim. I would venture a guess they do it 90% of the time when people buy new rims. I seriously doubt very many people buy a second set of TPMS sensors for their new rims.
