Swapped out the front grill (non-TRD) with a TRD version. Took about 2 hours total. Had to take all of the mustache'ing and front clip panels off BEFORE you can gain access to the grill. I wish there was a way to remove all of those panels while the front clip was on the truck. Regardless it all disassembled easy enough once I realized that those panels had to come off first once the clip was removed, installation of the new grill was very easy, and just a series of reverse steps from disassembly.

Have a magnetic saucer for all the screws you have to remove and keep track of everything!!! Just good shade tree mechanic stuff. Enjoy!

Next up is my Diamondback rear cover that arrived while I was working on the grill :)

Was it easy to get the logo off? How did you remove it? I’m thinking of doing this once my Platinum comes in

It doesn't come off. It is part of the bumper. Just did it with a bunch of tape and was very careful.

Nice! What is the make and model of that boat? I'm looking for something around that size and light weight.

Got some 265/60/20 Wildpeaks from a guy with an Off-Road. He got bigger tires. Got the front windows tinted and got its first bath since I bought it a few weeks ago since we got a break from the Oregon rain.

Well it’s a few days late butttt April 8, 2022 MY WIFE GAVE BIRTH IN MY PASSENGER SEAT!!!!

here’s the story… I know it’s long but trust me, unbelievable

On April 8, 2022 my wife had gone into labor at our residence. In a hurry, we grabbed our hospital bag, our almost 17 month old daughter and ourselves and we loaded up into the BIGTRIX. As we headed north it became more and more apparent that our newest addition did not have the patience to wait to enter this world. My wife, doing everything possible she could to hold on, looked at me and said “It’s happening, I feel something!”

We were about a mile away from a Volunteer Fire Company/Rescue Squad when my wife looked at me again only this time saying “I’m not going to make it, we need to go to the fire house or something!” I continued with trying to coach her through what I knew of birthing a child, which is very minimal might I add, when again it was made apparent it was almost time.

In an act of desperation, now knowing we didn’t have time to make to the hospital, we pulled into the front parking lot of the fire house. I ran inside to get help. As I entered the door I see a man with longer white hair and a fantastic white beard. I, in a panic, inform him my wife is in labor and about to give birth in my truck. Without hesitation he looks at me ever so calmly and says “I will be right out”. He hoped into the ambulance parked on the back side of the Fire house and pulls it around to where I had parked. As we approach my wife again she yells “IT’S HAPPENING!”

At this time the EMT/Firefighter had gotten his gloves on and was approaching to assess the situation. As he reached into the front passenger seat of where my wife was to assist her my wife again yells “SHE’S COMING, CATCH HER!” He, still as cool as a cucumber, along with myself see my daughter coming out right there in the front seat of the truck! At this time my wife’s water had not broken so our daughter was being born still in the amniotic sac. Knowing it could be life or death if my daughter was unable to get oxygen, he popped the amniotic sac and delivered our daughter!

Once the amniotic sac was discharged we heard the most beautiful sound, the softest whimpering of a new born and were overwhelmed with joy.

Everyone is happy and healthy and we are truly blessed! Even better news is we had a towel down and with the truck being leather, minor detailing was needed to make it look like nothing happened (THANK GOD).

Truly I thought the worst just because of all that…. BUT we had a towel down from Sam’s club and it absorbed 95% of everything… I MEAN EVERYTHING. So idk where y’all get your towels, but I HIGHLY recommend Sam’s club Members Mark bath towels for all your needs

    -bathing
    -beach
    -detailing
    -dogs
    -spills
    -birthing babies
    Etc

    Nothing.....absolutely nothing.....

Got it on the 16th....fucked my knee up the next day. As she sits she has only about 100 miles with most put on by my wife. Will install the mat finished screen protector when it arrives. Hopefully I can drive it more soon. Other than some window tint being needed it is perfect as is!
