What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I don’t mind I can’t even find a local rustproofing shop or undercoating business. There’s line-x shops, but that’s it.

 

Took a little over an hour to disassemble and reassemble. More tedious than anything else. Was being careful to not break any clips

My new bedcage heading out to snivs and some powdercoat items back for the old man’s rig. His rig should be done next week/ following week max. Then it’s time to do the fluids, pullies, valve body, and other parts we have on the shelf, dial it in then shock tuning to be scheduled.

I have a great local shop, just put new tires on my daughter’s Corolla and they do great work. Although today I noticed they did not put my original stem caps on, or any caps when I picked it up, Went back in and they gave me 4. I guess it could be worse.

 

Just ordered the Full Metal Fab transmission cooler bracket, along with a Derale 19 row cooler. Now time to piece together the rest of Toyota's mistake of removing the trans cooler from the last years of the 5.7...

I also finally got Icon figured out, and got my wheels ordered. Last June, I won a free set of Icon wheels at the Toytec Customer Appreciation BBQ. Between a totaled truck, a divorce, and my own procrastination I've been sitting on the gift certificate since. Today I ordered Icon Six Speed's in titanium, 17x8.5. I'll sit on them until I figure out tire brand and size that I want to run on this truck.

How was the install? I know pulling that panel is easy but I’m assuming everything just swapped over?

 

Road trip this weekend, changed the oil and filter and the propeller shaft lubrication. There are some nice FSR roads I want to explore, so turck is ready to go.

 

Yes. Everything swapped over. I did buy a 12 volt splitter off eBay and new USB port that fits in the blank. I had a couple blanks left over until I figure out what mods to add. The hardest part was getting the 12 volt plugs out of the old panel.

 

The only answer is 37's. You know you want them.

Installed land cruiser blower motor part # 87103-60560 on my 17 after mine went out. Wow what a difference, feels like a tornado on max.

Yes, that is how it happened. I actually wish this method was standard, just feels more complete to me.

 

And this was at a Discount Tire? I could see it maybe at a small tire shop, still wouldn't make any sense, but Discount Tire? Been going to them for quite some time, including two days ago for a rotation, and I have never seen it done that way. Most logical explanation would be that someone made a mistake and unmounted a tire, then remounted it incorrectly.

 

Yes it was at Discount Tire. It's possible that the did mistakenly unmount the tire lol
