Definitely. It's been quite the dry winter this year in Colorado though. Normally, I wouldn't have been able to even make it as far as I did.

Yes, it's everything besides the hood bulge. I have no idea if it'll work with the cruise control sensor, my truck isn't that fancy lol

synthetic rope is 1. WAY safer, and 2. lighter and free spools much much easier

Added a little subtlety to my tailgate.

I do feel this may open me up to challenges, and so it may be coming off in the future...

From a long time Android user, I can appreciate this unit for it's unlimited customization with several launcher options and apps to choose from.

Only praying it lasts me a long time and doesn't fail me like some have reported with theirs.

Part2 was the stock amp bypass last night that really woke this head unit up and that's with the stock speakers. Now time for the full speaker upgrade to wake it up even more:rockband::headbang:

Edit: Oh yeah.. can't forgot the free..

The image with the Teq logo is Agama launcher. You can find it in the Play Store. They'll give you I think a 7-Day free trial but I just went ahead and purchased it. It's a one-time purchase and probably worth buying after spending a couple days with it. I like the built in live wallpaper.

The image below that is the stock launcher but I got rid of those default widgets and added my own. There's not a whole lot of customization with the stock launcher but it's not too bad.

The best launcher IMO for Android in general is Nova launcher because that has way too much customization involved. It's not a car specific launcher but you can customize it enough to make it a car launcher, expect to spend at least an hour tweaking Nova.

Then the last image is PowerAmp music player app. That alone woke up the stock system with the stock amp still plugged in. Way better than the default music app and lots of customization. I have a thumb drive plugged into my OE USB port loaded with about 600 songs. So I can quickly jump from Amazon music (my sub'd music app) on Android Auto to PowerAmp to Radio.

For bypass info, there's a few threads about it but @1lowlife really helped me understand it here..

Got my bumper back from powder coating and finally got it installed today, the custom MGM/Black 2 tone powder coat turned out awesome.

Kept it simple and just did everything below the winch fairlead black, that will flow into the RCI skid plate that I also had re-coated to match since the original coating had started to bubble in a few spots over the past 5 years.

Finished making up the last few power cables for the winch, clocked the winch so spool handle is forward. Installed DD SS3 Pro fogs and BD-S8 light bar.

Removed factory bumper (last remaining chrome on truck) and got busy installing the new bumper. Very happy with how it turned out. Still need to finish all the wiring for the lights and winch under the hood, I ran out of time today.

I'm looking for the little plastic bracket that locates the camera into the tailgate handle. Mine is broken. If you replaced your camera you probably have a leftover that would work. I've made the bracket i'm looking for a green in the picture.

My camera is ok and functions fine, its the green portion that is broken and needs replacement.

Also looking for OEM tailgate handle if anyone has one.

    Thanks,

Agreed. I have this on mine, to counter all the 45 year old morons with Student Driver stickers on their Teslas here. H-1B visas should include a driving test requirement.

What other product did you use? Adhesion promoter, primer? I'm looking to do the same, but it seems like there are 6 other steps you need to do before painting it black.

I did a light sand with 1500 and washed part with Dawn dish soap. Nothing else. The SEM paint is awesome. I applied 3 light coats.

So, I was in forum purgatory, but now I'm out! Anyway, wanted to post about the safe @Terndrerrr mentioned. It's sold out, but Amazon has "similar" offerings through other brands no one has ever heard of. Anyway, for $33 I figured it was a deal even if it didn't work. To my surprise, it's fantastic! I've had so-so luck with biometric safes and did not have high hopes for this bargain one. With no instructions on how to physically open the safe, I felt like a caveman for about 5 minutes. Urggah Brokkkk! Grok angry! Ha! Ha!. I could hear the mechanism upon successful fingerprint reading, but caveman had to learn he must twist the cylinder to open. So, here's a video in case anyone else gets one. This reader is really good though. Not once has it not opened when it should; or open when it shouldn't. Color me pleasantly surprised.

It appears I cannot embed from Smugmug, but here's a link to the video.

THIS!!! Told my wife as long as I live here I will never own a Tesla or Honda due to the morons that drive them in this area LOL.

Seems like every new business / restaurant / shop etc up and down RR Blvd is catering to that demographic.

Yes it is a one piece 1/4” plate that mounts directly to the frame of the truck and is tied into the 1/2” one piece shackle design and the rest of the bumper. Other similar bumpers only use 3/16” steel. IMG_3909.jpg

I installed the ark mid mud flaps. Happy with the front one, but the rear one isn't long enough and I thought the long ones were too long.

I may end up installing the OEM ones back on the rear. Also, they shorted me 3 bolts. Had to use the OEM bolts which looks silly, but oh well. Not going through the trouble of trying to get 3 bolts.

No problem, it’s actually a pretty stout design. I picked up the Scar 12k winch from @memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad.
