In his thread, he was talking about it cutting throttle out right as he was trying to bump up & over big rocks when crawling.

Ohhhhh, then I could see the appeal there, but pulling the ABS fuse should have the same result

It was definitely a learning experience for me, luckily I had my young daughters’ commentary to help my shoveling out . I’ll be going for the air down & boards right away next time. I don’t have enough time on them yet, but as of now I much preferred the 275 KO2 over the 295 wildpeak in snow.

4LO has throttle limits, pulling the ABS fuse does not change them.

I certainly found them. I was rocking back & forth to get momentum, and any progress I made was quickly negated by a lazy pedal after the R-D change.

It’s also just a difference in tire compound and tread pattern; ko2s suck in mud or clay but from what I’ve heard they work well in snow

air down to 18 or lower; since it’s snow you shouldn’t have to sweat too much about debeading the tire

Meaning throttle limits not imposed from traction control?

but yeah that’s kind of the point; the 07-13 cases were chain driven so you risk stretching the chain if too much power is thrown through it; with the clutches on the 14-21 you could glaze them

Next time if you’re trying to rock back and forth, I’d do it in 4Hi if it were me, I’ve been in the same scenario in mud and 4Hi won’t cut throttle quickly shifting from R-D

Swapped in the turbokits x3 MAF in place of the x2. Let the retuning begin.

Will do. I got it built out in Solidworks, just need to make the exploded view and do the write up. Hoping to have it done by this weekend.

Yes. Example of Tundra 1st gear and reverse engine throttle limits vs. rpm below, 86% is WOT, idle is approximately 10% iirc..

Again no pictires... FINALLY Yesterday the rear diff with 5.29 gears and (new) Eaton e-locker from my rolled Tundra was installed in the replacement Tundra
call out to Premier West Grears in Riverside Ca for their work and getting the replacement locker from Eaton under warentee....not a simple process...

So now I have a 2021 stock 4.30 geared 70k mile third member sitting in a bin in my garage. Looking for some thoughts on how much I should put it up for sale at. toyota sells new at $1800 ish, ebay and others I saw at $1100-$1200.
So what do you all think I should price it at here on the market place?

    Thanks

Go on eBay and select “completed items” and “sold items” for your 3rd member search. That’ll tell you the day that item sold and for how much; it’ll get you a good idea what they’re going for

Battery kept dying so I replaced it with a Costco agm. Waiting on a new battery holder to replace the rusty factory one.

Neighbor lady wanted to pay my kids to haul a bunch of downed limbs and branches from the recent storm to the curb, so we did that this afternoon for a couple hours. She paid them each $20.

She paid me $20, too :laugh:

I’m sure you know, but make sure if you have a voltage booster if you don’t already
