What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed driver's side grab handle kit from Sparks.


And now I am going to go correct the weatherstrip ...

 

I sent them off Jan 3rd, got a shipping notification Jan 26, and they were on my porch Feb 5th.

 

i was going to an appointment, remote started the truck. then my compustar fob battery died and i couldn't get in. LOL took my wifes car and the fob was fully charged and I had to reset it- all good now.

 

Those look great! If you don't mind me asking what did they charge to wrap the exterior door handles? I've wanted to do this but the place near me wanted a ridiculous amount for it.

 

Picked up an OEM TRD rear sway bar, installed it today. Now I'm completed with front and rear.

 

Bought the same shield about 3 years ago. Vert stout!

 

Threw on an Amazon (Flowkottu) retractable tonneau this past weekend. It’s pretty solid.


Then on the way to work, I turned around and looked back at it…. Had to snap a quick pic.

Washed all the winter grime off once the snow melted and temps improved. It was starting to look like a toasted marshmallow.

My brother just sent me this from his Tacoma. He even managed to get it home in the driveway with this mileage. Says he is done driving it and needs a new truck.

Went to go run a few errands the other day and noticed a puddle under the truck. Turned out to be oil. Seems the rear main seal went to sh!t. Hoping to have the truck back sometime this week

 

What?! No way! Was your PCV clogged or have you been getting fluid in your catch can? Man, sorry to hear that!

catch can has been doing its job. Getting a new pcv valve just in case. No issues with dash lights. Truck seemed to be running fine. Just turned 145k

 

What kit did you use? Did it work?

 

Versa Chem and there is a good YouTube video using this kit. I can still see a little of the chip but all the micro spider cracks are gone

Not done yet, but I finally sent the email to order my wheels after winning an Icon gift certificate at last years Toytec customer appreciation BBQ. It only took me 8 months to decide on which wheels I wanted

 

Had a tail/brake bulb go out and took a couple tries to get it remedied. Previous owner swapped all bulbs to GTR lighting leds which are super bright but I am not impressed with their lifespan, especially with how pricey they are. I first tried SuperBrightLEDs 3157-RXP red bulb. Better price, similarly bright. Problem was it didn't operate like a true 3157. It lit up as the "taillight" when plugged in one way, but nothing when I hit the brake, and when I swapped the bulb position, it was the opposite; no taillight, only brake light. I even ordered a replacement thinking it had to be a fluke but the new one did the same thing. Very strange. I moved on to the Lasfit L2 3157. Better price than the GTR but not quite as bright, though it's hardly noticeable. This bulb works as expected, with both taillight and brake light function.

 

Where's the dog? They look great and also for the dog too!
