I was going through my service history again and noticed the previous owner had the transmission fluid done at a Valvoline just under 20k miles ago. I figured an extra drain & fill is in order to keep fluids from mixing, so another 6 qt on the way from Fred A. OEM air filter to put me over free shipping threshold :thumbsup:IMG_7423.jpg

Thank you. I’ll probably see how everything fits without spacers first. Still debating the 285/295

Just for reference on my setup I got an Ironman 3.5in lift on mine with 295/70r18s and wanted to keep the trd offroad rims but I don't know if it was the lift, the ironman upper control arms, or the Falken wildpeak at4w's build dimensions but when they tried to put the tires on the truck the sidewall of tire was rubbing the upper control arm. This may not be anything your looking into but just wanted to share my experience with the 295's

My solution was get some black rhino armory rims with an offset:spending:. Good luck on your journey and I am not trying to steer you away from the 295. My case was probably 1 in a million

From everything I’ve read, a 295 on an oem wheel gets pretty damn close to the UCA. Every truck seems to fit a little different around here, so I plan to just put on whatever I end up with and make it work from there, at oem ride height first. I appreciate the input

It looks to me the wildpeak at4's have a wide sidewall and I have a sneaking suspicion that was my culprit but regardless I made it work

That’s a mean setup, I like the military style of the wheels. How often do they come off for a barrel cleaning though :rofl:maybe it’s just mine, but it feels like these trucks brake dust like a euro.

I have a set of 1” Bora spacers that I will be selling. I ran them way less than a year so they are in good condition.

I had 295/70-18 Toyo AT3 and they cleared the UCA by 3/8-1/2”. In my opinion, the stock wheels look best with a 1” spacer. Any wider and some tires spray crap down the side of your truck.

Thank's, they get a barrel cleaning about every 5000 miles:fistbump:.

I tried finding something similar to these but a cheaper option but after my wife telling me just get what you want at least 3 times and me explaining that they are NOT the cheapest option and everytime she said just get what you want I broke down and got them. Darn the luck:D

That is one thing about these rims is break dust is not a issue on the outside:thumbsup:

Where are you located again? Might be able to let you “test fit” a 295 on factory BBS wheel if you want - I’m just over the river from PDX.

I’m just down in Salem. That would be awesome !! I don’t plan on pulling any triggers before summer time, but if the schedules align and it’s not a hassle, that would be super cool of you, I appreciate the offer!

Biased, but agreed. 275/70/18' on OEM TRD OR wheels

1st photo: front no spacer, rear 1" spacer.
2nd photo: both with 1" spacer

Common. Those photos were from over 18 months ago, so IDK. I do remember it being common for the rear axle to not be perfectly centered. ;)

I just realized it the other day on mine and was like WTF after almost 10years didn’t see it, I read in a few different places that Toyota actually offset the rear axle to the passenger side just a bit to align the rear driveshaft/transfer case better.

Haven’t decided yet. Don’t have much need for a dual set up right now. Frees up a ton of space though!

Yeah - I’ve run 295/70 on the factory +60 wheels for over 110k miles - Falken Wildpeak AT3 for just shy of 95k, then AT4 when it was time to switch. It was with factory UCAs up until just before the tires got replaced too. So I’m very familiar with how they sit.
