Looks like they did a great job! Is that the Baja light bar in the bulge or a different one?

it’s the NSV light bar, got it on Craigslist for 250, too good a deal to pass up.
I don’t think it’s worth the 1100 plus they ask for it brand new

OH, and I put a new battery in. Getting 30 to 40 connect services notifications daily drained the hell out of it. Thought about a AGM but just kept things simple and got a Toyota True start

Block heater install on the 5.7 is incredibly easy. I had one on my ‘15. They’re a dry heater, not like the older style where you install a freeze plug or tie into a heater hose. The 5.7 has a port on the back of the drivers side cylinder head that you clip the heating element into. Then it’s just routing your power cable.

This time I decided to go with an upgraded power port. On my ‘15, I went with this flush mount power port. It was nice, I installed it in the lower plastic portion of the front bumper. The only problem was after a few years I had issues with corrosion on the terminals, so I had to replace it.

The new one is a hardwired port so I’ll have to cut and wire them to the back of the plug port, but it’s a waterproof sealed connection so hopefully it’ll last longer. I’m just not sure where I’m going to put it on the truck yet.

Any ideas from anyone to place a mounting plate for a switch pannel under the hood of a 2018 tundra other than on top of the fuse box but in that general area?

Idler, tensioner assembly, serpentine belt, spark plugs, Wheelers Superbumps rear w/ new U-bolts done on the Tundra! The real win was my dad, for the first time, let me do a simple oil change on his 1995 GMC Sierra. Big coming of age moment for me. Happy Friday

My PC does all I need, and I've told people that one of the keys to early retirement, (which I did), was to buy a coffeemaker. YMMV.

I’ve been mulling this over too, on my 07 I put it 2-3 inches above the battery, so you could slide it out to change it; on this truck I’m thinking about doing above the abs pump.
