I love em. I shopped around for a long time to find wheels that weren't 0 offset

Nice! Just did the DK UCA with 6112s. Looks good with your 8112s

I don't have one (yet) but I just know that that was the bumper you were asking about.

Look at the thread posted, lot of good info in there and that would be a better place to post that question.

I've been considering these as an upgrade to my SPC upper control arms. Been going through joint more than expected.

Measure 3+ times based off @STravis instructions and you’ll be good. Take your time. Cut slow as the paint will start to get hot and bubble. Be careful with the harness routed behind the fender on both side(I clipped mine on the passenger side). Enjoy some beers afterwards.

Replaced inner and outer tie rods today.

Jam nut on the passenger side was seized which prevented shop from being able to dial in caster previously. It was definitely time as they were all a little flippy floppy upon removal.

Needed to get that fixed and bring in for another alignment after installing the 8112’s.

Had to cut the jam nut off with the portaband to salvage the dust boot.

I tried this in my Gen 3 yesterday, but I figured it might help someone here.

I tried out the Reeva dog rear seat cover yesterday to go to the vet.
    I like it.

Amazon.com : REEVAA Dog Truck Seat Cover for Back Seat, Hard Bottom Dog Hammock for Car, Pet Bed Extender for 2-4 Large Dogs, Waterproof Seat Protector, Universal XL Size Fits for Crew Cab Truck/SUV, Black : Pet Supplies

Dogs aren't in the truck much, so I think it's a keeper.
Not only does it have slats for the front of the space, it also has slats for the seat part to make it flat.
Removable screened area to keep them off the console.
Sides are zippered to protect the doors.
I attached a boot lace to hang it from the rear seat hanger.
The whole thing folds up and goes in a supplied bag for storage.

Also, put these in the Gen 3 today, but I felt it would apply here.

Bed tie downs with a cover.

The OEM bed rail tie-down anchors don't work with a trifold cover.
I ended up giving mine away after buying my bed cover
I had some cheap ratcheting straps under the rear seat and figured I would use the corners if I needed them.

But the wife gave me some new heavy Rhino tie-down straps for Christmas.
I figured I'd better find a solution to my lack of tiedown anchors on the bed rail, as I had in my 2014.

    2" x 10' Retractable Ratchet Straps - Rhino USA

    I first tried these.
Amazon.com: RENO Bed Rail Cleats, Tie Down Anchors for Cargo Trailer Compatible with Tacoma Tundra Gladiator Pickup Truck, Replaces PT278-35160/35111/35112/35100-S1/35050-S1 PT785-35050-S1 (Aluminum,Black,2PCS) : Automotive

They would mount, but the rail of the cover prevented anything from hooking onto them.
    I returned them.

I saw these on Amazon and thought, "Why not?".

Amazon.com: Bed Rail Accessories for Toyota Tacoma Bed Cleats Tie Down Anchors Rings T Slot Nuts for Tundra Deck Rail Pick up Cargo Bolt on V Ring Truck Trailers Hook Bike Mount W/Screws and Washers (4 Kits) : Automotive

    I'd give them a shot for $20.
I think they'll work out fine.

I did have to remove the cover bolts and anchors, but I did not have to remove the bed rail bolts.
Not as pretty as the more expensive tie-down anchors, but they'll work just fine.
Certainly large enough for the HUGE tie-down hooks she bought me.

    THANK YOU
I’ve been looking at the various versions of this style for a while because the one I have that drops to the floor just gives them a way to get around the side and pop up between the cover and the console…and then onto the console.

That sucks. I am happy with them but I upgraded from stock and installed Perry Parts bump stops too so the overall ride was improved a ton. And it did take care of a steering shudder I was getting so I assume I had an issue with the stock joint. Good luck if you make the change!

Random days at speeds over 40 mph on the freeway. Had alignment, tire rotation and rebalance and it made it worse so the shop "re-did their work" and just put my tires back in the original rotation and that made it less worse but didn't resolve so I let it ride for a while. Then I just decided to replace the arm which was on my holiday shopping list anyway and haven't had any issues since. Though I will never know if it was a ball joint out or just needed a better qualified alignment. That said, I know many people like spc for their ability to adjust for tire sizes 35 and up so adjustability might be the trade off

Those are simple, cheap, and work fine. I keep an Allen wrench in my center console for if I need to move them around.

Thanks for the heads up. I have an intermittent shudder at the same speeds. Was heavily looking into control arms after dialing in everything else
