Ok... got the switchpro connected to the control panel and powered. The ditch lights are now wired into the switchpro and working. I have the wire harnesses ready for the 3 sets of lights on the bumper (30" BD S8, 2 BD squadron pro's and 2 DD SS12'S). Plan for tomorrow pull the grill, run light harnesses, power the Warn VR 12k S winch and reconnect the Remote control wire and mount the Camera for the FRAC. That is assuming I have the energy to finish it all... like I keep saying small steps...

Big day!! I installed the 5100’s a couple of days ago, the fronts being in the middle clip at 1.57”, giving me exactly 1” rake front to back. Today, I had my Raceline Rogues in 35mm offset wrapped with 275/70/18 Toyo Open Country ATIII’s installed and aligned. Absolutely zero mods needed, no cutting, trimming or rubbing of any sort. Stoked to keep my mudguards and front air flap without any issues. Love this truck and even more so with this new setup!!

Body shop was nice enough to let me come install sound deadening and foam insulation, to help with temps in the cab, on the ceiling of the truck. It’s crazy to see it so stripped down. It’s going in for paint tomorrow thankfully.

I ran out of foam so I’ll finish up when the paint is done

ok, why exactly did they need to strip it down barebones? I'm assuming you are getting it painted a different color or?

OEM 18s secured off FB, I’ve been wanting some since buying my sport model with the big daddy 20s. Now to decide what color to paint them and what tires I’ll end up with. First thing will be giving the set a deep clean and see what I’m really working with.

due to the damage on the corner of the cab they had to paint the backside of the cab and they don’t want to have any seams in the clear coat.
also since the passenger rear door is getting replaced they have to blend the top of the cab, the passenger front door, and a-pillar. This shop doesn’t take chances when it comes to their work. It’s the official repair center for Porsche and Mercedes in our area. Current estimate is about 18k

Out of curiosity I looked this up as it’s something I may do also in the future, found a decent video by Viktor G and showed he replaces the factory differential gasket, axle seals and o-ring too, he gives a shot of the part number, for the gasket, seal and o-ring in there too. Not sure about the front differential though I’ll keep looking.

    Too many mods to come
Few parts for my rig arrived this week along with some additional items ordered. Starlink mini with the carbon mount, new power steering pump not pictured. Sold the 6 wheels I had and ordered new wheels. We’ll be moving to Innov8 g600 beadlocks in a nice color way. Updated the shock package color order to match the new wheels.

Pops rig update- light housing plated, front bumper skid and vents laid out. Should go to powdercoat soon. My bumper should be done here soon as well which will ship with the bedcage to snivs.

My drivetrain specialist buddy used RTV both times we’ve had the rear end apart - first for the Aurburn, then for the Speedmaster. The auburn was in for 140k miles and I never had an issue with the RTV leaking. Though I think he used clear. I’ve got to stop by his place next week and I’ll try to ask exactly what he used but IIRC, I asked him if I needed to procure the OE gasket and he said no - he would RTV it in.

Ya, that was a while ago when the ad was posted. Looks like that guy is still trying to fleece somebody…

@Toe404 the Gen 4 Whipple is a 2.9L like @reywcms said; the 3.0L is a Gen 6 and AFAIK, they weren’t adapted to the tundra platform until late spring 2025. Then the first production batch that Whipple sent out wasn’t even shipped out until late June 2025. Just FYI :)

If you got them machined or sandblasted that would look good with the MGM, IIRC. A brighter bronze also looks good

Bronze is definitely on the table, as well as MGM paint match, and I have had some thoughts of a full polishing, decisions :annoyed:

I was looking at that earlier. When you check to see if it fits, it says it won't fit my vehicle.

It will fit, the trd sway bar left the factory on TRD pro's and TRD sports. The rear axles and frames are all the same.
