I run Lux magnetic rock lights...same locations under the doors. All in one solution. Decently bright.

Did a little involuntary improvement to my rear shock setup. I had noticed that one of the two small jam nuts that Icon has you use had backed off and just left one there, which I didn’t think was the end of the world. Upon trying to tighten said nut, I realized that it had pushed up and stripped the threads on the top of the shock body. Thankfully I was able to run to the hardware store and get a good old fashioned lock nut, which I recommend anyone with Icons standard hardware to swap to.

I always thought those two small nuts were stupid, I wish I had swapped to regular hardware ahead of time.

I've tried the search unsuccessfully. Are there parts #'s somewhere here for TRD sway bars, both front and rear. Would like everything necessary.

I just ran across that thread yesterday but glanced over it and kept going. I think it was under "New Posts" thread down the list on first page.

Tho it's not my truck, my 1k miles on the KO3s in all weather conditions, including ice and snow has been good. Excellent traction in snow and pretty strong on ice, tho I have 480lbs of sand in the bed during winter months...I'm happily surprised by them...caveat being they run a bit smaller than Coopers and Falkens...I'm currently on 275/70/18s, myself.

I had a chance to throw the Perry Parts bump stops on...quite a bit more comfy in all driving I've encountered in the last 20 miles...pot holes and gravel roads have been tamed a bit more, now. I'd say a valued update to OEM.

It's a new toy we got for Christmas. Happy to share the STL file if needed.

I am running mine on the frame between the wheels. There was not enough wire on the kit to make it work in the wheel wells.

Nice. I had a 2013 Yukon SLT that I built an Overlander out of it and I put K02's on it. Had zero issues with them. No whining or road noise, good ride. But I dont have to deal with Ice either like you. The K03s look really good.

One place where they don’t do well is in mud….obviously. Was out rabbit hunting last weekend, and the roads were snotty, thick mud, that just wouldn’t clear. I’d throw it in 4wd and gun it for a bit and that would clear them, but they’d clog up shortly after. Honestly though, MTs would have had issue w these conditions too.

You won't be disappointed. I was very disappointed when my '21 showed up with 20's.

Many more options available for 18" tires.

As a person that tows much with 2nd gen and plans to tow much with the 2.5, I can't wait until these 20" tires wear out. I'll be installing 18" wheels with some sort of heavier duty tires.

These 20" low profiles ride rougher than my 18" ers with extra ply rubber.

With that said, the low profiles look odd to me on a 4 wheel drive.

I've only got 22 k miles on '21, so I got some time to shop.

Im a bit old school and like more rubber, less rim, and OWL.

I don't think you will be unhappy with 18s @centex but what do I know. I'm an old fat geezer

I had the challenges in mud with the original KOs and I heard the same with the KO2s...I guess I'm hoping these work better, at least, than the previous versions! Coming from die hard Cooper ST MAXX Fandom, these still need to prove themselves...so far, they're doing great!

Hello Tundra Forum. Long time Toyota fan, 1st time Tundra owner. I gotta say, “I love my 2014 CM!”.

Little history on my…. Uhhhh history with Toyota in the last 20 years:
1980 Corolla SR5 Hatchback - Bought used, restored, destroyed it - (Name: P.I.T.A) 387,000 miles (92,000 on rebuild)
1985 Celica GTS Hatchback - Bought used, restored-ish, Sold it - (Name: Delilah) 214,00 miles (12,000 on rebuild)
1989 4Runner - Bought used from a friend, Semi -restored it, made into an “overlander”, sold it. - (Name: Red) 322,000 miles
1992 Toyota SR5 XtraCab 4x4 - Bought it from a mechanic (Old guy didn’t pay his- (Name: ) 194,000 miles
1998 4Runner (Limited) - We Bought used, still rebuilding it - (Name: Blackie) - 298,000 miles - Daughter still driving its
2000 4Runner (Limited)- We Bought used, rebuilt it, new Transmission, T-boned & Scraped - (Name: Elvis)
2003 4Runner (Sport 4WD)- We Bought used, Repaired 4WD system, (Name: Flash) - Son’s Ride (when he paid me for it…) 339,000 Miles
2005 Land Cruiser - I Bought it used for a steal and repaired lots. My favorite daily beast - (Name: LC) - 328,000 Miles
2018 4Runner TRD Pro - Bought new, mostly stock-ish now, Just regular maintenance, (Name: Carbon) - 99,784 Miles - Wife’s car!!!… (Off Limits unless I’m fixing something for her… :))

So this brings me to the 2014 Tundra CM - I bought it used and Love this damn thing!- (Name: Silver) - 153,000 Miles
I’ve done a lot of cosmetic and some body repair work. Previous owner did NOT love this truck! I have done the following on the drive train:

Dumped the diff and replaced the diff fluid - Gears looked clean and no scarring
Removed the drive shaft and had it balanced - had a little vibration I didn’t like
Had all the tires and wheels balanced - Had a bad out of balance tire/rim but got it fixed
Plasti-dipped the rims Black to cover some scratches and scuffing - Looking for new tires and Rims soon.
    Flushed the coolant system
Flushed the brake system and replaced the pads on all 4 corners
    Replaced the hood shocks
Replaced the headlights with LED DRL headlights
Replaced the fog lights with LED
New side bed top rail covers
    New Tailgate top rail cover
Soon to be putting new rhino lining in the bed and underneath.

Happy New Year!… Look forward to learning lots from those that came before me with the Tundra

I tend to drive my trucks like sports cars so the shorter stiffer sidewall is a plus. The ride quality I don’t care about. I don’t tow a lot, just a rzr, I’m not to concerned with it.

My k5 is sitting on 37’s with 17’s only because I can’t make a 15” rim work with the ton axles. I like the look and the purpose as the truck is built for crawling. My tundra is just a daily that doesn’t wheel. Got tired of wheeling my daily’s and making them squeak and creek and getting banged up.

I’m not a fan of the twin locknut design either, but I’ve had no issues with mine thus far. Glad you caught the missing one early. That’s a common failure point on a lot of rear shocks it seems. There was some dude with a 3rd gen that was on Instagram blasting Icon after one or both sides completely lost the nuts and sent the stems through the plastic erm I mean composite bed while he was screwing around in the Cinders up by Flagstaff. Definitely something that needs to be checked regularly and torqued/retorqued to keep the nut sandwich intact.

Love the look of the BFD’s! I just got mine back from the powdercoater but haven’t had time to get them mounted up. Dustin @FNWheels was awesome to deal with.

Those Perry bumps have treated me well. I have them on all three of my rigs. The sequoia rear bumps are SUBSTANTIAL and with all the road construction around me I know they have taken a few hits.

Easy solution to disappear tread post haste:
