Ditched the fuel wheels for some Kansei KNP wheels. The fuel wheels were nice, just not my style. The truck felt noticibly sluggish with them also. Went from 112lbs per corner to 87lbs with the new wheels. The Mickey Thompson tires (295/70r18) were nice but too loud and I think majority of the weight. Went to a 285/75r17 KO3 I like them so far. Also replaced the brake lines with some steel braided brake lines, new calipers powder coated in red, new OEM suspension and some husky floor liners.

Pretty sure I almost broke my Allen wrench trying to get mine loose and still couldn't do it.

I heated it with a torch for a while and it didn't work. what ended up breaking it loose was the heat from being welded. I think the best setup would be welding a tall lug nut to it... then there's plenty to grab with a wrench.

Yeah I drenched mine in spray lube and didn't do squat. When it does come off, I'm gonna replace it with a plug that has edges I can wrench on

I recently ordered these and fluids to do front diff and t-case fluid change, will update with the results. I’ve also read if you give the face of the plug a little smack with a hammer just enough to shock it, that will help it break loose.

Found the biggest 1/2 breaker bar and that bizatch bent like an Olympic weight lifting bar before it broke loose. Unfortunately I put a new copper washer and hand tightened the old Allen one back on when I was done. Definitely ordering what Smurf posted for the next change

I'm gonna eat my words the next time I do it but I've never had a problem cracking it open, yeah it requires a lot of force to eventually pop but

You know what, probably the big difference is that I'm standing up and doing it at the shop and not on my back, I can fully insert the allen key and not worry about it slipping

I hit mine a couple of times with PB Blaster about a week before I even attempted to remove the plugs. I had no issues on a '21

Opinion of course. Those wheels look MUCH better than the fuel wheels.

OK. NOW I see a use for a 2" on the front of the truck. I'm sure there are more from you great white north folks that us desert rats never consider.

I debated in my head for weeks whether I wanted a winch bumper or not and I've always wanted to try this for modularity. that and I like having less weight on the nose. stripper pole mount, toilet seat mount, the only limit is your imagination...

That was exactly where I went in my head. Anything I can plug into a 2" -- BUT on the front of the truck as well...

I mean. I have 0 real life use for that, and am not going to do it. BUT, I totally see it now!

for sure! The only other thing I thought about having on there would be like a little two-person seat for... idk watching fireworks on the 4th of July with the ol lady or something. or I guess... fronting in a trailer? Now that's just poor sportsmanship. fuck I wana try that now

Custom bedcage is done leaving it raw just incase we tie into it with other lacing from the chassis and rear tire layout plans. Had him add some corner tabs for whips and flags as well.

I think you probably need some LP9's for chase lights right there... they can't run into you if all they see is yellow
