My dad just picked up a 2020 Tundra SR5 TRDOR.

Kinda jealous if I’m being honest :)

This is easily the nicest vehicle he has purchased for himself, and he is excited.

Would like to get him some sort of accessory or something for Christmas. Any cool recs in the $100-$200 range?

Drivers side grab handle is around $200. Very common first mod.

I bought an eBay leather steering wheel with all black stitching for about that, too. It might’ve been $250…
Solid upgrade, and it’s easy to install.

    Other options:
Lots of us run the cheap Amazon console safe.
    Husky weather beater floor mats
    Bed mat
Rear diff breather relocate kit from ARB (pair it with a rapid deflator), if he’s the off-roading type.
    Duro-bump bump stops
    Rago bed accessory mount panels (I think they’re still 15% off…around $120)

    Just getting started...
Finally received the body panel clips I ordered a few weeks ago on Amazon. Pulled the hood bulge to fix the old worn out clips and found that several of the clip mounts were cracked. So I broke out the JB Weld Epoxy and glued them back together. Reinstalled the bulge and failed to take a single picture. :annoyed:

The blackout shifter surround & cupholder surround is a super nice quality of life gift (AJT Designs & Meso Custom's sells kits)

Maybe some nice seat covers if its cloth

Husky floor mats if it doesn't have any

Maybe a @RainMan_PNW 3 switch relocator for behind the shifter so he can move some switches there

    Perry Parts bump stops

    Center console safe

    Center console organizer

    Leather honey is good stuff...

I really never thought about using it on our seats because the leather isn't truly quality leather, so I wasn't sure how it was going to interact... but good to know it's worked well for you. I'll give that a shot next time!!

With that said, I never thought my limited seats were actually leather. I always assumes it was plain old vinyl that was dressed up to look like leather. It just doesn't feel like leather seats from my past.

Not sure if anyone already through this one out there, but if the truck has 'wired' CarPlay, a wireless dongle (adapter) is GOLD... Solves a ton of connectively and behavior issues w/the system, and it's wireless so it's convenient...

Some thing like this one is reasonably priced and works well:

MMB Mini Wireless Carplay Adapter, 2025 Carplay Wireless Adapter for Apple iPhone, Plug & Play, Smallest, Fastest for Converts OEM Wired Carplay to Wireless Carplay Only for Carplay Car Model 2017+

Also, many of these trucks need an update to the OE headunit, and many owners don't know about this. So, I'd check the firmware on his truck and verify it's up to date to help w/performance:

Same. Hood bulge almost flew off on the freeway because every clip mount had split. Used some high strength epoxy and wire mesh to secure. Looks terrible, but we will see how it holds up
