Spraying test pieces for golds/bronze against my color blue. This will be to respray my black wheels coming soon, which didn’t come in bronze. These are interference pearls, which disappear in the dark, leaving a black finish. The differences are subtle.
    Leaning towards the first picture.

Opposite colors pop. The opposite of blue is orange. Brown is just dark orange. So a color that leans most brown, the last one, is the one that a colorist would tell you to choose. I'd tell you to choose the one you like best.

I would’ve been ok with it or at least compromise if the led match the factory. Could live with some dark spot where the led does not show through. But it is clearly two different shade and brightness. Could not handle it. Every time i look down, it’s in my face.

The old Meso was OCD and wouldn't have let that go. I really think things got more than he could handle and a lot of stuff has started being churned out "good enough"

That’s unfortunate really. Some are ok with “good enough” as it serves a particular purpose. That’s ok if you are. I know myself, i couldn’t live with it. I will be ok with factory setup too. Would it be nice to have the volume buttons switched? Sure, is it a necessity? Of course not. It’s one of those, nice to have and not a must.. oh well, it is what it is.. perhaps it matches the 4runner led better? I don’t know, i don’t have one to compare to.

Definitely a difference in QC on these... My Meso steering wheel control fix does not have these issues; if anything it may be 'ever so slightly' dimmer than the OE setup, but I really have to scrutinize and look for the difference. Color is the same...

I bought mine back when these first came out, and just looked at my receipt, which shows purchased Sept of 2023... So, maybe over the last 2 years demand or quality w/the selection of parts has changed... :notsure:

    Either way, it's too bad!!

Unfortunately mine just pop in your face immediately and you don’t have to “look” for it. It would’ve been nice if i didn’t have to really look for it..

I have those and the angled ones but mostly reach for the Merry HS175C. And truthfully, I lift clips with a pick first (when possible)

The truck clearly had a light impact with something in the past. While it looked good from afar, the Platinum grille had serious cracks that actually caused it to come apart in two during removal. It's going in the dumpster

Yeah I saw that on another picture. I don’t know if it’s just the different between the double cab and the crewmax, since @easleycrawler and I have double cabs. Or if it’s a year thing. I may source that before doing my swap. Thanks!

A little careful application of nail polish remover and you can get the lettering to come off

I've learned one person's version of "acceptable" isn't always the same as someone else's. I didn't notice any fading but you may want to experiment (or be prepared to order a new one) if you don't like the results.

Took her to get a wash today then installed a full set of Ark micros. I've got the TriXpoly splash guards that I'll install another day. I like the look of these micros.

Are the cloth units heated? I really don't like my leathers in my 21 limited. I do like the heated feature, though.

    Location?

No heated element but I'm sure you could easily add it. Located in SoCal but I can drive if you're within a reasonable distance.

It's a vinyl decal overlay on top of the chrome badge. First I did the complete black overlays but I liked the look of having a tiny bit of chrome peeking through.

Put some new rotors and brakes on my truck
    AISelect_20251019_193320_Amazon Shopping.jpg
Things went ok...things were pretty well snug and boarder line seized on there lol
    20251014_182241.jpg
They look great work great! Yes I have spacers. I love my stock rims I'll post a truck picture at the end :)

Got done and had a nasty sound... After literally taking off, recleaning relubing and installing again... Stumbled across a YouTube video said something about the dust shield on the back side of the parking brake... I swore I was careful....
    20251016_083727.jpg
Apparently I did bend it... This was the only spot it was hitting... Now the shield is flat and everything is PERFECT
    20250912_135157.jpg
    These rims are so hot

Long story yes... Highly recommend these brakes! Love the kit
