I actually found them on eBay back when I was looking for the black emblems. Kind of tedious but with the little spray bottle of rapid tac, plastic vinyl tool & tweezers and low setting heat gun they turned out pretty good.

Here's what I did to my tundra today. Terrible day. Went to a jobsite in the medical center for an inspection. As I pull into parking garage inspector calls and says she has to reschedule because she forgot her digital level. Wasted trip. So I make the loop to come back out of the garage. Come to the last level, there is a patrol car parked across a few lanes so I make the turn more tight which caused me to hit a black metal column. Never saw it. So bummed.

Collision center is taking it in on Monday. How do they even repair something like this? I have been a Toyota guy forever, owned over 10 various models but have been wanting a 3/4 ton as we just purchased a few acres in the country and have been pulling a trailer a lot more as well as a longer commute the better MPG would be nice. Wondering if this is my sign to let it go after repair. Not that a 3/4 ton is any easier to get in a garage, I just feel its tainted now.

They'll cut the outer skin off and put a new one one. They did that on my BIL's mega cab when he ran a stop sign and you couldn't tell. But it sounds more like you are looking for an excuse to get rid of the truck.

I was curious if that's how they would do it. I was worried about a giant mess of dent pulling and bondo. And who knows, part of me wants to keep it until my son is ready for a truck and just keep building on it until then. Part of me wants a larger truck. I think it all depends on how the repair comes out. Progressive tried to stick me with a pre-certified collision center which had terrible reviews. Luckily I asked if I could find my own, which had great reviews, so I am hoping for a good outcome. Plus I know nothing about diesels. The ease/cost of maintenance and serviceability on the tundra is pretty hard to argue with.

Did my first oil change, wasn't too bad but hate having to drop the OEM skid plate to get to the filter, sounds like an excuse to buy an aftermarket one though! Put on a Fumoto valve for ease of future oil changes. Dropped my Relentless Fab bed corner braces at the powder coater for power coating. Took the tonneau cover clamps off to put bed rail tiedowns in, and the t-nuts for the corner braces and drilled out a cross-threaded bed rail screw that wouldn't let stuff slide past it.

Found out the previous owner put on a Taco Tunes cat shield/skid plate that wasn't disclosed to me before buying the truck so that was a nice perk.

Found some time to do the rear diff breather extension mod after gathering the supplies here and there. What I used:
    union p/n 90404-51319 (toyota)
    10' 3/8 fuel line (Amzn)
breather filter (k&n) - garage sale find, brand new
hose barb, clamps, rubber clamp (harb frt)
m6 screw, zip ties, teflon tape - had already
The original breather cap was beat up and stuck. Ironically we've had flood watches the last few days from bursts of heavy rain. I'll check everything in a couple weeks, see if it needs adjusting. I did put a small rubber pad sticker on the inside of the fender where the filter might hit it.

And I had to join the great hvac fan migration of 2025 and take advantage of the discount stacking. Thanks to whomever originally posted the extra 25% off promo code. Also got the parking sensor silicone spacer, black 4x4 emblem to match the inlay on the bed, some oil filters, and the trd air intake accelerator. I hoped to get a trd shift knob as well, but it appears that's considered an "accessory" and not a part, so the original 25% off didn't apply. I justified spending $40, but $60 was too much lol.

Went on a 5356-mile trip. Used 406.62 gallons of gas = 13.17 mpg. We drove north of 80 mph when possible.
The Overland Tailer Tune is wonderful if you ask me... but I'm having a hard time keeping my foot out of the gas. The truck should have ran like this from the factory.
We went from Columbus, Ohio to Glacier, back the northernish route through Minesota, UP Michigan then back to CBus.
Prong Horn, Big Horn Sheep and on the last day we finally saw a Grizzly.

Does the tune add any significant power/torque or is it more tuned for throttle response and gear shifting points?

Thought so. I have Talons plates with a TRD plate and have been debating getting one of these or just making one. Does this bar make it a lot easier to install the 2 fasteners?

Yes and I just liked the idea of having the solid bar across the entire rear of the plate vs the tabs

They claim more HP & TQ and the seat of my pants dyno can confirm this. The best way I can describe it, it feels like the tow/haul button has been pushed in about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.

    100% would recommend

For the price, its a really affordable product from Talon and with all they have done for the forum and how they support the Tundra market in general. I found it easier to just buy his product and not have to worry, his offering comes with the new bolts for the 2 holes.

Bought a 2021 1794 a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the guy before me installed one of those strobe third brake light harnesses, I had no idea since I'm the one driving. My wife was behind me this morning and called and told me that I needed order new brake light bulbs asap. What I personally heard was go to Headlight Revolution and go ahead and upgrade all exterior bulbs to LED including puddle lights and license plate lights. Selective hearing can be a real pain sometimes ya know?
