Well after installing and testing the Thinkware ARC dash cam for a couple days I didn't find it to my liking as far as the software and smartphone connection goes.

So I opted to getting the latest and greatest from WolfBox. I got the G-900Pro and I gotta say that the build quality is definitely there. I'm about to take a drive right now so haven't really tested the footage but the settings seem endless. There are lots of features built in including voice activation which is what mainly sold me. I also got the CPL lens attachment and have it hardwired for parking monitoring. Have the rear camera mounted inside to a bracket from dashcamstore. I have one of the OEM front mirror brackets on order right now to test fit and hope it's gonna work. I currently have it strapped to the stock mirror but I'm hoping to have that fixed on Thursday if what I ordered fits.

For anybody looking to get a dashcam, this seems to be a really great option.

Nice! Installed one on my wife’s 4runner a month ago. I really like it.

Sweet! Which mounting method did you go with for the front cam? Do you have it strapped or did you get the OEM bracket they sell? Is it the '16 4runner in your bio? I ask because I'm really hoping that the 118 bracket they sell is going to fit my '18 Tundra. Website shows it only fits '07-'16 Tundra but I don't know if there is any difference from '16 and '18 with how the stock mirror mounts.

They make a plate for the mirror instead of strapping it. You can find it on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZJNV35X?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title . Looks way nicer.

Thanks for the link. I ordered the bracket that they make but they make several different models to select so if the one I ordered doesn't work(which I'm thinking it will) then I'll give the one you linked a try. I see you have a '20 Tundra, do you have one of these Wolfbox mirrors & are you using that plate you linked?

    This is what I ordered...
WOLFBOX Model 118 OEM Bracket Fit for 2008-2017 Kia BORreed, for USB C G840S/G840H/G850/G900/G900PRO/G850PRO Mirror Dash Cam

This is direct from their website..

Yeah I have the new wolfbox G900 pro. I used the plate I linked. If your mirror is the same, you'll have to find four small screws to screw the mirror to the plate. Lucky for me, I had four laying around my hobby bench, they are super small so good luck.

Okay. Almost done. Just can’t get the passenger side sway bar link to line up to get the bolt started. Any tips?

Did you get that TX keychain from Houston? My buddy owns a shop here called Manready Mercantile that makes one identical to it.

What's hanging from my mirror is actually a leather car scent freshener. My brother sent me and my sis a lil care package not long ago. I love the scent, just wish it would last longer.

I love the leather ones but they do not last long enough. Especially for the price. I made a couple to test and they all required some type of recharge to soon. The bead ones seem to last longer but are not as "cool" looking. The wood ones are awesome, but same longevity as the leather ones. I plan on making more of the wood ones, but I am still tinkering with scents and longevity.

That's awesome! I don't think I've seen the bead style. I've been considering those wood car fresheners by Drift. They offer a subscription where they send you 1 every month. It's a bit pricey for the cost of having your car smell good. Might give it a try one day.

Threw the RCI arapaho bumper and diode dynamics amber light bar in. I was surprised at how flimsy the stock bumper truly is. Very happy with how everything turned out. I need to add that the welds and attention to detail are fantastic. Customer service was amazing. And they were a week ahead of their lead time even with their Black Friday orders. @RCIoffroad

Very Cool. This is the one my buddy makes. Don't think it is an air freshener though.
