This has been covered a number of times here, but this only works if you already had the proper amount of fluid in your trans. Chances are you did or close to it, but if it was low for any reason, it will still be low using this method of measure and replace. The temp check method insures you get the proper amount in the transmission.

Hello yall, new to the site. Long time member on Tacomaworld tho. Finally pulled the trigger on a Tundra to use as a daily.(Will try to keep that in mind as my Tacoma is my wheeler now) I purchased a 2017 Double cab SR5 TRD off-road in magnetic grey. Already have a few thing I plan to do to it right away.
    • Ordered the trd rear sway
    • Will be ordering a bilstein 6112/5160 suspension set up with a 1” rear block. 2.5/1
    • Likely order a set of 295/70r18 wild peak at3w with some spidertrac spacers
    • Start looking for a center console to replace the middle jump seat.
Let me know what you think of that to start and if I’m missing anything that I should look into right away.

    Here it is:

    Here is my Tacoma:

That’s my photo. Sorry, I didn’t see your reply asking about them. :( I do have them on my truck. They’re Vision off-road Rockers. I got mine from Summit Racing.

Thank you! I’m stoked. Looks and still feels excellent.

Indeed. Absolutely beautiful. We got spoiled with perfect weather, too. I’ve gotta get back up there soon and find some more trails!

In addition to what others have said, might I suggest that you could also get the Hose Kit for the 3/8" ID Nipple Fumoto Valves.

I have a very similar setup. Have you figured out the best way to get the kayak up there? I muscle, and curse, mine up there every time, and say there has to be a better way. Just curious if you had any tips. Thanks.

And keeping with the thread, I tried searching for a dash leak today. Driver's side. I had a new windshield installed in June and I believe it is the culprit  Have to narrow it down though before contacting them. I just put my rubber floor mats in, so it's now noticeable.
