Who did you source the glass from, Alfred? I'm wanting to replace my front fenders with a slim, factory profile type as possible since I don't plan on getting wider pre-runner style and the associated tires, lift, etc. Thx.

Adv fiberglass is close to my house. They are known for their great fitment but I have a feeling their molds are old since 1st gen’s are 20+ years old . They need a good amount of bodywork to get the fitment on point

Fenders came out good. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get the bedsides . There were paint issues with the doors so I figured why not .. so it’s back in the body and paint shop

Well, the texas weather is finally getting stable enough to do lawn projects again, so I loaded up at the home depot with about 1400lbs of pavers, sand, and drainage rock to replace a old section of wooden patio that was rotten.
    IMG_2044.jpg
I had taken out the ATS HD springs and put the OEMs back in a few weeks ago just for the leveled look and nicer ride, but damn did it not feel great driving squatted. Getting some TCF 3/4” drop shackles this week then I’m going to drop the HD rears back in.

On that subject, I realized after letting them settle that one of my ATS springs is a wee bit taller than the other. Maybe 1/4” of extra arch. I had that one on the passenger side before, not sure if it was the cause of the whole 1”-2” of lean the vehicle had but it certainly didn't help. Wonder if anyone has done the math to figure out the relationship between arch height and ride height on our trucks rear ends.

Drained and filled transmission(looked great and made me feel a little silly), oil change 350 miles ahead of schedule and greased driveshaft with Lucas red and tacky. Thinking of taking the gang to Fish creek next weekend. All that’s left to do before Zion is make a packing list….maybe it’s time to reinstall my skid plate as I don’t plan to get under there for anything else for a while

New meaning 0 miles on the springs. They'll loosen up a little after some miles and drop a hair.

When I put new springs on my 6112s they started settling after the first drive. Hit some speed bumps or pot holes if you want to speed up the process.

Did first ever throttle body cleaning at 278k. Didn't seem to be too dirty. Did relearn process per the sticky. Idled at 1200rpm for a minute or two and then dropped to 800rpm. Truck was warm. Crappy pic for an iPhone pro ;)IMG_2947.jpg

Just tacked on a MAF sensor cleaning. Maybe do this with each air filter replacement?

Ok. Your initial comment confused me a bit because I stated that I had new springs but you mentioned if I had 500-1000 miles I was good to go so that made me wanting clarification. I guess I was expecting a yes you need to with new springs or no you don't answer.

    Thanks...

Update: I took the truck for a 50 mile ride today to settle the new suspension a bit. I like the tighter firmer ride much better than the boat on an ocean ride up front. I know the truck will probably sag a bit when I hook up the small trailer (5x8) with the Zero turn mower and other lawn equipment and or load the truck with stuff, but I don't do that on a daily basis so it won't bother me too much, but I will now most likely be looking to replace the old and worn leaf springs with something new. I am happy with the results.

I will be getting a load of dirt and that will show me how much it sags in the rear.

    Next project: Front Brakes

Perhaps it's the camera, but the rear wheels sits like it has a lot of negative camber. I'm sure it's fine but just looks that way.

Single aal or progressive? Keep the overloads or remove to install?
I'm guessing the aal converts the MD packs to their HD version.

I replaced the drive belt tensioner with pulley, the idler pulley and the fan bearing bracket, now I am chasing down a little weeping oil leak.

Correct. He said from now on his HDs will be the MD with the AAL. Placed above the overload. This is the only AAL he has...so single AAL.

Turkey express wheels up. MS for 4 days of hunting...then TX for a few weeks...then NM for a few days....then CO for a few days....God willing.

Which compressor is that floorstanding one? I need to replace the wall-mount Branick someone stole from me.

It's the Jack Tech SK-3000 Strut Spring Compressor. I purchased from Amazon back in December but now shows as no longer available. I am sure you get it at a legit tool supply shop. Below is a link to an online tool store.

Got it. Looks like they have others in stock and "Jack Tech" is probably just a rebrand of one of these or vice-versa.

The cost of the SK-300 was significantly higher that those $100 versions and some of the Youtube reviewers I found were not too happy with them. It's a different beast compared to those (except the one costing over $1k).

Sounds like something I may need in the future but I don't think I want a 2" lift. Do they sell other size leaf springs with lesser lift.

Does the ATS HD springs work with the OEM Ubolts and differential seats?

What are the differences between the ATS and General springs, if you know?

Not too bad of a sag with all that weight in the truck.

Yeah, if I were to buy anything that cost as much as the other one you linked ($600), I'd just drop the coin into getting another Branick like the one in the lower-left of that image I pasted.
