I know there’s a good thread to add to, I’ll find it eventually. Finally fixed the biggest complaint I get. 2006 era cup holders don’t work with my wife’s giant water bottles.

very specific to DC SR5s using the seat heater switch cutouts I think.

That's very creative thinking. Is legroom affected?

probably but she’s not a very big person. This also makes it where you can’t slide the seat all the way forward, but I can’t think of why I would do that anyway.

Probably more potholes and not seeing well with my 25 year old headlights and poor night vision.

Time to replace another body mount. I’ll have to inspect the carnage this weekend.

Just redid the alignment that's been bothering me for a while. Camber went from like +0.5 to -1.0. Didn't measure caster but it's as much as possible with that camber. 1/8" toe-in. The truck actually kind of handles now, or at least as good as it could with a 265/75R16 Kumho AT. I'm not too concerned with tire wear, but I don't think a degree of negative camber will cause too much anyway.

Got my valve cover gaskets and accessories. Weird how they look like a penis and make an angle up/down where it curves. I thought they were supposed to be rectangular.

Edit: Never mind. Looked at a video of how it’s done. Looks fine.

Yeah, you need FIPG to seal the corner of the cam tower where that weird perpendicular rise is.

So, the carnage isn’t as bad as I thought but it’s crushed down to the top of the mount. About an inch to an inch and a half together.

I've got a full set of body mounts to do eventually that finally came in from Fred Andersen. For the DC, @alb1k told me to order an extra set of rear ones for the middle instead of using the original P/N for the middle ones. The middles have less rubber and are less rigid.

I’m just using the Energy Suspension substitute so I don’t have to lift the cab up more than a couple inches to replace them.

It's already getting into the 90's so I'm not sure how motivated I'll be to get in the garage this afternoon and weekend. I got my Siberians in, but still need to do my uppers.

Recharged it's battery today and threw it back in. Intended to start on removing the valve covers to replace the gaskets, coils, and pcv... but the house is getting painted and our painters decided today is the day they're migrating to the front soooo the tundra is back on the street. Shoot :anonymous:
