Speaking of NOT spending money on her, The Hella 130/90s are in! I finally had the epiphany... of why you boys need distribution blocks/relay brackets, etc... o_O

    20251218_170653.jpg

Old bulbs, I had no idea what was in there. Pretty weak.
    20251219_112108.jpg

One casualty (actually happened a week or so ago), housings are pretty brittle. I'm sure the added heat now will help that.... right? o_O
    fixed... good enough for now.
    20251219_123841.jpg

This was my choice of mounting location. loosened the rad and got it all tucked in and zip-tied good.
    20251219_125917.jpg

It was daylight out when I did them, so buzkill, no real world night outdoor street night shots. If they weren't so brittle I would swap the old ones back and get those shots.
My lenses are pretty dang clear, this is a huge improvement. I have yet to test them at night. So basically this post is 90% useless.
    20251220_021153.jpg

And then I ordered some super bright amber/yellow bulbs for the fogs that should be here next week :spending:
I am rationalizing these as "safety improvements"

Finally got around to installing my energy suspension rack bushings.

    PXL_20251220_053610831.jpg

Tightened up the steering wheel dead zone/play a bit on my truck.

I only did it because we installed another set on a customers truck today. Their left bushing in their steering rack was missing the center sleeve, so their rack would shift left or right when turning and the steering wheel would be off to one side or the other, when going straight. Made me actually want to install mine, which has been in my parts pile for 6 months or so...

Also added an extra spring clip to the bottom of my brake pads. Maybe it'll help with noise, when backing, when the brakes are dead cold.

Same. My big D donut bushing had split, crumbled and was non-op causing my truck to drive like my dad’s 77 C-10 with a steering box. Slop and wander.

Pulled the truck into the garage for a tire rotation and I want to paint my rear drums and clean the backsides of my wheels. Still a bit wet outside so I’ll wait a bit for everything to dry off

Oh yeah, long time enthusiast here. Printer comes in very handy with older cars!

About materials - right, TPU 95a was too rigid (grabbing a cup way too hard) even with minimal thickness everywhere - 3% infill, 1 perimeter walls, 0.2 bottom, 2x0.2 top and that was with 0.4 nozzle. 83a (I used eSun) was just right for this

These look awesome! Any chance you'd be willing to share the files? My brother has one of those fancy printers and has made me some tailgate bushing. Thank you!

I'm still happy with mine. I wired up a pair of amber LED fog lights in my bumper and prefer not having the harsh white light from the LED headlights anymore for normal driving. I've got 3 sets of white off road lights for when I don't need to worry about blinding people. I need to get a photo of mine with all my lights on now.

Part of the housing on my passenger headlight broke where it holds the clip in place while I was swapping lights out. Had to drill it and add some safety wire to hold the spring clip while I wait on new housings to show up. Same thing, lenses are perfectly clear but the plastic is super brittle. Gonna hold on to them as a spare set to modify if i do ever decide to try the mini projectors or full size projectors.

Sure! I attached them to this post - STLs for flaps front and rear and also inserts, front and rear. I printed them with eSun TPE 83A, with 0.2mm layers

I’m going to try my luck at printing them. Thanks for the settings. I’m curious about the material PEBA. Sounds like a good flexible option mixed with some nylon for strength. I may try that and report back. Thanks for posting the files too!

I removed the front and rear vertical seat adjustment motors and removed some of the seat frame to lower the bottom cushion of the Sequoia drivers seat as much as possible while retaining the ability to disassemble the frame. I measured the bottom cushion height is three places at the beginning: 10 3/4 inches at the front edge, 11 1/2 inches mid-seat and 9 3/4 inches at the seat back. After the work, the measurements are: 9 3/4 at front edge, 9 1/2 inches mid-seat and 7 1/2 inches at seat back. The original bench seat measured: 10 1/4, 10 and 7 3/4. The Sequoia seat is much more comfortable now and the arm rest on the seat is a comparable height to the door arm rest, so I am happy with the results.

Did you also lose your blue high beam indicator on the cluster with this upgrade? I swear I remember something about that in a post of yours.
I would like to understand why its doing it, and if there is a simple work around.

EDIT: I am triggering my ditch lights off the high beam, and it only happens when I have them on/that 12v source selected for the trigger.

Changed the AC pulley assembly. IMG_1783.jpg IMG_1784.jpg
Fairly simple. Hardest part were the were the ring clips. Specially the one on the clutch. IMG_1782.jpg

Unfortunately it didn’t solve my pulley noise problem. It’s a lot better than it was/doesn’t sound like a horse but still getting a squeaking sound while driving uphill & mostly on take off.

Considering changing the serpentine belt. The one I just put on was in my truck as a back up for several years. Wondering if that might be an issue.

Now on to changing the Alternator IMG_1786.jpg

I have to run resistors on both stock headlight connectors or my high beams come on as soon as I turn the fogs on. The high beam indicator won't work unless I have the resistors installed. Same as running LED bulbs on the stock harness.

My setup is drivers headlight connector --> resistor --> relay trigger. Passenger headlight connector --> resistor. Then I cut the connectors off the fog lights and wired up the matching Baja Designs connectors for my fog lights.

Where are your ditch lights connected to the harness? I'd try adding resistors to both sides. You could even run the ditch lights off the factory high beam circuit after the resistors if the wattage isn't too high.

These are the ones I have, but delivery looks like it's pushed out a couple weeks at the moment.

Does the power steering pulley have 3 bolts or 2? The YouTube vid I watched was an 04 and had 3 bolts. Mine had only 2

Ok nevermind. Seems like I am missing a boltIMG_1788.jpg

The horrible sound is gone but I had a very slight pulley squeaking sound which went away the more I drove. A lot better but not perfect… yet

I will try to draw it out, and PM you. What you said makes perfect sense, but in my case the blue brights indicator WORKS if the ditch lights are turned off. I have done the foglight-anytime mod a long time ago so anytime the key is on I can turn them on.

I just wrapped up throwing a 150 amp and 2/0 in @Sunnier 's truck. I already put a 150 amp in mine a few years back.
