I'm trying to replenish my vinylex supply and can't seem to find it easily. Did I miss something? What happened to lexol? I read one link that said they move production to China. Does that mean they discontinued some of these products? And if so what are the recommendations for replacements? Thanks

I found some Lexol on Autogeek. If that’s what you are looking for…

Thanks but that's the leather cleaner. It doesn't look like they have vinylex.

Not sure what went down, but they made some changes a couple of years ago. I’ve used their leather cleaner for quite a while, but the normal spray version has gotten harder to find. They’ve switched to a different system with two squeeze bottles and that’s what most places are carrying now.

Do you like something better? I'm open to a switch. Same question for a dash/vinyl/plastic treatment.

I use 303 aerospace protectant. Works pretty good, and it has UV protectant in it. Great for all the interior vinyl/plastics.

How glossy is it? I liked the Vinylex because had a satin finish - not glaringly shining

It has a slight gloss to it but not like Armor all. It definitely adds a little compared to a dry dashboard. I wipe it on and then go over it again with a dry soft cloth. It’s not very greasy once it dries. I bought it in a gallon form off of Amazon. But you can pick up a small bottle at an auto parts store and give it a try. It will wash off if you don’t like it. It made my dashboard nice and black though.

All I use is Aerospace 303. Matte finish and it protects against UV far better most other products.

Shine Supply Clean n Shine is my go to for dash and other interior plastic. Leaves a nice finish, not too glossy. For leather seats I’m still using the bottles of Lexol I have. Once I can’t find that anymore I’ll look into other products.

Thanks. I have some Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner left so I'm not in a pinch. Please share your opinion on those when you run out.
