I've been troubleshooting a drl problem with my Triton V6's, they stopped working as drl lights, but they still work as switchback blinkers and are always on when i turn on the headlights.

I talked a bunch with Vled and they thought the HDRL modules were bad. I ordered some new ones and still have the same problem. I figured that it would be smart to try to put the stock bulb back in, and see if its working (i cant believe i didn't do this before i ordered the new modules). No drl, but it turns on with the headlights, so its gotta be a fuse.
Note: i've got retrofitted headlights and the halo and strip under the headlights are working perfectly as drl.

I thought id better go through and start checking fuses, and cant really seem to find the one that is for the drl.

    Anyone know?

LED DRL have a relay and a fuse in the underhood fuse box: (Edit: Nevermind, if you had the LED DRL you wouldn't have the Tritons.) Other fuse box is under the driver side dash, try there.

I've never actually tried to look under the dash for that fuse box. Holy hell, it's up there.
It was 102 yesterday and I got as far as pulling the cover and looking at the diagram. Nothing really screamed DRL. It was way too hot and I abandoned ship.

Only in the 80s this weekend. Hopefully I can give it a second look.

    Anyone know which one?

Its cool enough to mess around with the truck again. i went under the steering wheel and pulled the fuse box cover. I went through with a fuse tester pen and everything had power to both sides of the fuse except for a 7.5a Tow BK/UP and the 15amp TAIL. I swapped both of those with new fuses, and still no drl's. Anyone know if those are supposed to have power to them when the truck is running (without the headlights on)? I tested them with the headlights on, and there's power to both sides.

Now i'm trying to go through the install instructions for my projectors to see if there's anything missing. Maybe @iHacker can chime in?
here's the instructions i followed for the wiring.

Did you ever figure this one out?
I ran into the same problem when I upgrade my headlights. Figured out it needed to be reset by disconnecting the battery.
Something about the computer needing to be reset. no fuse to be found.

I was mistaken and the v6's dont work as drl's (in my case, i thought i remembered them doing it, but nope). Its a downside to the retrofit's i'm using. The motocontrol doesn't allow it.

If you just lost your regular drl's there's a fuse box under your glove compartment that you can check for blown fuses.

I haven’t checked it, yet. Although, My issue is a little different from yours. I have a ‘16 with the ‘19 pro headlights with ihacker harness. DRL doesn’t work with lights off and truck running. But, it works with lights on.

Gotcha. you should pm ihacker. I ended up reaching out to him about my (non-existant) issue and he was really helpful.

@iHacker replied super quick and knew the exact issue I had. The wire that was fed through the firewall had a loose connection under the dash. I must’ve inserted the pin wrong. Re insert the correct way and now got a solid connection. DRL back in action. Thanks ya’ll.
