I'm looking at getting a campground cruiser, aka mini bike. Nothing special, just for me and my 4 year old daughter to run around in. I will probably end up getting a second down the line for the wife too, once I know a bit more and have some experience with one. I have looked at the Coleman CT200 and a doodle bug Baja. Anyone have some experience or have one? Anything would be helpful.

I got the CT200. I play around with it at the local construction site. Nice little bike. Not super fast. Looks like it has a speed limiter cause even in the downhills it slows down and doesn't pick up speed. There is enough room where I can squeeze in a kid and take for a ride. My son doesn't reach the floor yet so he doesn't want to ride (even tho he's dying to). I haven't looked at any other ones.

An old Honda trail 90 would be pretty cool if you can find one.

For yourself? SSR 125 would be cool. I had an SSR for my son and it ran great. We moved to a quad for him so I sold it, but no issues and great price.

lol I hear ya. There are Chinese that's why they are reasonably priced but the good thing is you can upgrade the heads on these things for cheap and places sell almost every part for them.

I was surprised at the price. for what they look like, I'd think they would be $2500 plus. I may have to start thinking of reasons why the wife need this.

They are out there, just a suggestion.

Sometimes, I almost think the pit bikes were more fun than the MX bikes.

    Almost...:D

Ended up picking this Baja dirt bug for $250. It came with a 6.5hp motor, goes up a hill with my daughter and I on it.

    Thanks for the replies

Still got my eye out for a pit bike.
