Thought this could be a good thread about being in the right place at the right time and because we all own a truck we can capitalize on picking something up.

I seem to find stuff that I put off buying like wood that I needed for this winter for our wood stove:

    image.jpg

I needed a fertilizer spreader and today found a good one in someone's trash:

A few examples on why I have a truck!

    Post up your finds!

My wood pellets for the winter. Come to think of it, very soon, I have to pick up a ton of them. Soon, I won't have to worry about that any longer.

One thing for sure, it's good having a full size truck, especially if you have the 6.5ft bed. Nothing better than making a "picking/dickering" expedition on the weekend with a truck. Another reason to not buy a Pweeus.

Have you ever noticed how people you hardly know will come up and say "can I use your truck"? They are your very best friends until you say no. :)

I tell them U-Haul is down the street. $19.95 per day+ fuel local. Problem solved in ten seconds.
