I bought this one and have been very pleased with it. I use it on my sports car and will end up using this on my truck as well.

I have a Mobius front and rear in all my vehicles. They are about $70 and have survived several summers.

I used to run more expensive dedicated dash cameras but they always had issues and wasn't worth the extra expense.

I have the Viofo A119 v2 with GPS. It is not a dual camera but the price and quality, it has been reliable. One of the great benefits of this camarera vs some others is it does not use a battery and instead a capacitor. This improves longevity in areas that experience high temperatures.

it seems blackvue is top dog but so expensive.
Thinkware Q800 is slightly cheaper - reviews seem to say there are issues on Amazon

I have a blackvue on my BMW. Yes, it is expensive bit I have had issues with it. I bought it because of the form factor. I have the Viofo A129 on my Sequoia and the quality is so much better than the blackvue and is much cheaper. The Viofo also works off 5v USB so I can plug it into a portable battery charger and it will record when I'm parked.

Basically replaces (on top of) the stock rearview mirror. So I have a video screen for a rear view mirror like the new GMs.
Can switch on the fly between front/rear facing. Records both views simultaneously, but only one will be 1080p, the other is 720p, but you can choose which one has the higher resolution.
There is a better version, made by a different company (IE the real one), but this one was $80 on eBay so I took a chance and I really like it. Lets me see traffic at night a lot better, since I'm not relying on a mirror to see outside my dark ass tint. :anonymous:

In June I was in the Philippines and was quite impressed with everyone using mirror dash cams, with just a swipe it changes from front to rear and can also be used as a security cam also. I will be installing this one in December.

I already have a back up and front camera going to my oem. I dont need extra monitors and analog rear view mirror works for me.

I think your missing the point. We all have review mirrors :D

I think tithe op is asking for when the truck is parked as well. If your not there, how do you know what happened? At least it offers a piece of mind.
