What color if YOU were buying today...

I'm ordering my brand new TRD Pro. I've compared everything and, despite different features elsewhere I just WANT the Tundra. It LOOKS like a truck, and is comparable enough to make it a good choice.
I,personally, love the solar octane color. It's wildly masculine, IMHO, with the black grill and highlights, and would be a statement wherever I drove. However, I saw a black one in person and wow was that a fine truck!

So here's my q, and I'm truly interested in your opinion: Which exterior color do YOU think looks best on the TRD Pro???

 

Solar Octane is the best but I'm 50 and not cool enough so I went with MGM. Lunar was my first choice but missed out. Enjoy your truck in two years!

Of the available colors for 2023…
1. Black, looks best, had a black FJ, but promised myself to never buy a black vehicle again
2. MGM, I might be biased because that’s what I have, but I really wanted Lunar Rock
3. Solar Octane, too extra for me, but it looks good
4. White

I would love to see a pro in Supersonic Red or Army Green in the future.

 

I'm 54 in a couple months. Maybe that's why this appeals to me. 50 is the new midlife...

 

Currently have Cement but I would rather have White

 

Army Green have I, and she’s more beautiful every day. So happy I went with AG! No change desired

TRD Pro = Solar Octane all the way for me!

I just picked up a new 1794 hybrid with the TRD package in Barcelona Red! My second choice would have been Windchill Pearl which is the color of my wife’s ride.

 

I have MBM Limited and black is meanest look on the Pro. I’d also go black if you plan to keep it a long time. I think black looks the least dated as the years pass. Have it clay bared, polished and waxed once or twice a year and paint stays new. I keep my trucks for 15+ years, but If you flip your trucks every 2-4 years get the octane because it is just bad a.

 

Lunar all the way... unless eclipsed by the Solar.

 

I love the Solar Octane, but for me I feel it could be like a 90's barb wire tattoo. Its really cool for about 6 months, then I would get tired of it. I had a Solar Octane on allocation, but a black Pro came available and I jumped all over it. The real hard "no" for me is the red interior. If I had a choice between any color with red interior, I would take the Solar Octane all day. The MGM is by far the best TRD Pro color IMO, but one with black interior never came available.

There is a 2022 black pro in my neighborhood with the red interior that looks pretty sweet. I also love black, but having a black Tacoma, pain to keep clean (even garage kept) and hides no imperfections in the sun and told myself never again. Really like my white Tundra is more forgiving and black accents, but I just feel white looks like a 'work / company' truck color.

So, to play 'the game' and if applicable, Cement or white

Lunar for sure but I couldnt find one so got White and I like it a lot. I dont think that the color choices on trucks in general these days are very good, seems like a lot of black, grey, silver and white on the lots. No creativity. Black looks fantastic when clean but after owning a black SUV id rather drink a Drano Milkshake than have another one. They look great though.

 

White, simply the best overall. Trim it out with black accessories though. Fad colors are like some other good things in life, great but they just don't last long!

 

If you like the flashy look Solar Octane is the choice.
I don't think I pull off flashy at 53 y.o. so I have MGM and don't regret it at all. I will admit Black may look better when perfectly clean, but how often is Black ever perfectly clean? With kids and Grand-kids I don't get to wash her as much as I'd like thus MGM is the classic selection

 

Solar Octane, I usually wouldn't consider white on a truck but the 3rd gen looks great with it.

I had a MGM Tacoma and love that color too.

I have a blueprint. It’s beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. But it’s impossible to keep clean. Also I hate chrome, but I actually think chrome contrasts great with it. Blacking everything out on this color just doesn’t look as great as I want it to… drives me nuts lol.

 

I got deposits at two dealerships waiting for Solar Octane!

 

Dealership has both a Lunar and AG coming in and finally decided on the AG. I don’t see too many around so I wanted to mix it up.

It’s expected to come in March but I’m not keeping my hopes up

 

White. They all look great

I always wanted Lunar Rock and got lucky. But MGM would be second followed by white with red interior

 

If ya gotta go Pro, any color….then paint AG! FTW.

 

My MGM was great. My Black was beautiful for a few minutes. White works for me. Less painful to deal with.

 

I wanted white but could only get my hands on a solar octane I am 63 might be a little to flashy for me lol my grandkids think it is the coolest truck around. I have my name on a waiting list again when they get a white one I think I am going to trade mine. Beautiful color just to bright for me.
