DECKED’er Nathan installed an Optima Battery, ARB air compressor, Viair 2.5 gallon air tank and PEAK 1200 watt mobile power outlet hidden and tucked away in his drawer.

“Perfect solution for off-road storage and mounting of equipment to be self-sufficient out on the trails while retaining full use of the payload and DECKED top. Aids my ability to go anywhere without fear of not having what I need clean and ready to use, also serves as a perfect platform for camping in rough terrain.” —Nathan

That's a great looking set up. I definitely have a few of those items in my system currently as well.

    Tow straps and stuff.

I noticed in that first post that he had to make his own divider. The Decked dividers need to be reengineered. They never stay in place. Even worse that they aren’t included and you have to pay more for them.

The dividers have been reengineered as of this year. They now have a rubber gasket that helps them sit in place without popping out.

When were they reengineered? I just got mine on Jun 12 and don’t have the rubber gaskets. Mine pop out every time I open the drawer.

Also, I was about to order the core trax. It says I need the 48” for full size short bed. But my bed and the decked system is about 65” for the 5.5’ bed. Does the 58” core trax not fit? Seems like the length is good so I was wondering if the mounting holes don’t line up.

What about “on” a decked system? You can guess what’s in them.

Dm me with your address and I will get the gaskets sent out to you. Also, the short bed will require the 48" core trax. You are correct, the holes won't line up.

Sent PM. Thanks. It’s a good system and good customer service. Even my wife approved, and she gets mad when I spend $10 on a car wash. Still getting parts but plan on mounting a fridge and core trax next.

It looks fun, but just know the decked system in full sun can achieve temperatures seen on Mercury (hence the shooting mat, and yes I have legs, they are folded up against the back window)

Damn you all! I can't afford this forum! I downsized to one vehicle to save money, and I spend more on all these glorious mods than I ever saved. Now I have to start researching and saving for this stuff too!

Perhaps this has been asked, but what is the max length of skis that can be loaded in?

    Current Skis are
    189 ON3P Billygoats
    189 ON3P Cease and Desists

Will likely add a pair of 191 Dynastar M-free’s this year.

It will depend on what size truck bed you have but see below for the drawer dimensions for reference. All DECKED tech specs can be found here.

Short bed (5') will fit 155
Long bed (6') will fit 183

We are based up in Sun Valley and use our systems all winter as well. We normally throw our skis on top diagonally and have all the gear that we don't want to get snow on in the drawers.

    Ordered!

Excellent idea. This would be good for a mobile medical pack, a hunting or fly fishing extras pack, change of clothes and shoes and obviously a tool bag, wait, I mean a D bag.
