What is the build up to make a new model? What are they doing in Texas right now? How long does it take?
    1. Clearing out stock parts and finishing up 2021's
    2. Retooling preparing for 2022?
    3. Building 2022's
Or something else that I have no idea about?

I can't see them building 2022's right now there would be leaks from the workers and we would know more.

Leaks don't come from the workers. They'd lose their job. Not hard to track down where the photo would be taken from on the assembly line.

If there are any leaks it would be from their suppliers who make things for them. I.E. exhaust system, wheels, etc.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Finishing out the last of 2021 production, and the part of the plant that used to build Tacoma is almost assuredly being tooled up for the 2022 Tundra.

    A bunch
Has to be, that's about the only place an OEM would come anywhere close to Dyno'ing an engine with a carb

Well it’s also a cam in block motor with compact heads. That’s also not a carb, but the excellent new Holley EFI carburetor replacement.

This. Supply chain has been ramping up for some time, the San Antonio plant is most likely winding down 2021 production in August and will cutover to 2022 production in September, probably with minimal downtime for retooling.

All of this is contingent on the current supply chain issues with chips, etc.
