I purchased color matched mirror caps. I had no problem taking my chrome ones off. I’m having trouble lining up the inside top part. Has anyone had this problem? They are like this on both passenger and driver mirrors. It’s driving me nuts because I could see it from inside the truckC05E8F96-D546-4CEA-B08D-DE863DB15373.jpg C4C088B5-05A9-4C26-A18F-BA0B6A12280A.jpg B24D397D-6A7B-4DDB-82A9-601AC164257B.jpg

One of mine is like that as well! It bothered me at first, but no one else notices.

Try pushing it a bit harder. My first ones were like this, and I exchanged them again and it was good to go. It may be a manufacturing error.

Mine did this, I just pushed harder to the point that I thought they would break, but then they popped unto place.

Same issue here. I bumped it with the heal of my hand until it popped into place. I tried pressure but it didn't work.

Try installing then from the top first. If that doesn’t work try bottom first...took me a while on my passenger side but finally got it. Drivers side snapped right in. But passengers side took 15 minutes to finally get it snapped in.

Adjust your mirror so you can see inside and which clips that arent fully seated. Then You can focus on the area to push in.

Try pulling them away, if they come off easily they are not locked in right. It took me a few tries to get one of mine to sit right. Pay close attention to the way the tabs click in.

I updated to chrome shortly after I bought the truck. One went on easily, the other took a few tries. Take a break, pop it off, realign the tabs, and try again. Once you get it right, it'll snap into place.
