    Coach builder +1?

    coach builder +2? +3?!?

icon rxt? Been hearing these aren’t so great

    deavers? Other???

looking to lift the 21 pro just a bit, I’m set on westscott lift for the front but I definitely don’t want to use the block in the back because I play to wheel a bit. Looking for a level look with no rake. What do you guys think the beat route would be?

I considered that kit but it only lifts the front an inch, the westscott is 250 and lifts 1.5 inches

I do see that kit uses the +3 shackles so I may go with that and deal with a bit of rake. thanks for the reply

In the same boat. I like the idea of westcott up front with the CB +2 or 3 in the rear.

Could you share more about why you think westcott isn't a good idea on the rear?

The rear is just a one inch block. While it will lift your rear I hear that it also tends to flatten your leaf spring.

Basically there are better options out there

I'm working w/ Main Line Overland to try to solve this problem for me. I want to keep the stock shocks in the back but also need to be able to handle more weight (600-700lbs) and compensate for the 1.5" up front. I'll keep you posted as to what they suggest. I got tired of asking for help on forums and FB groups. I couldn't get an answer that didn't further muddy the water so I decided to go to experts and let them guide me. Sounds like we'll be doing CB +1 with Dobinsons 121 leaf packs but we haven't nailed it down quite yet.

I got the Westcott installed at factory, on the rear as well.
Thinking of adding RXT Leaf pack on option 3 that add 4" unloaded - 2" with 750 lbs.
I also have the front piece, truck sits level.
Wondering if when I put the leaf pack in if I should then remove the 1" block on the rear?

I have Westcott on front and rear. Right at 18,000 miles now. Spring has not deformed any.

Good to know... I’ve been thinking about just adding +2’s to give it a little rake

I know it’s not a tundra, but I had the westcott designs lift in the front, icon rxt leaf pack in the rear, and timbren bump stops. I had zero issues and complaints about both or all three products. The Tacoma rode great and had a nice look to it. The improvements helped towing the heavier weight. Definitely planning on going with a similar set up on the Tundra just with different suspension this time around. Trd pro take offs don’t seem to be as common with the tundras.

Have you tried sending a message to the CB guy on here? I did after 3 days of no shipping update. He never replied but maybe that got the ball rolling for me.

The leafs on my previous Tundra were flattened after 50k+ miles with blocks. Maybe the added weight of the canopy helped cause it, I don't know. I don't recommend them personally.

I’m pretty sure I talked to him directly on the phone last week. David, he’s the guy that told they would be shipped last by Thursday of last week. Still no update, if these weren’t the Ferrari of shackles I’d have cancelled already

I’m planning on the Westcott up front and CB shackles in rear definitely want the level look. Are you happy with the +2’s?

I was happy until a put some weight in The bed and now I’m a touch nose high. Likely going to get some icon rxt to help me relevel and handle loads better (no pun intended)

Just curious I know the group buy is done on the coach builder. That plus 3 will keep the tundra Pro level correct. Why did you choose that route instead of using the whole westcott kit? Thanks.

I’m not a mechanic but the back of the Westcott kit is a block, and for the most part everyone says to stay away from blocks. I’ve also heard quite a bit of negative feedback on add a leafs. I don’t think I’ve read anything negative about the shackles other than it’s difficult to fit a 35 spare between them.

I’m just going to roll the dice and see how everything goes!

From what I learned in the research I did thru this forum and people I spoke to the shackle is a better option for the rear lift than block supplied in the Westcott kit. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong either way you just have to do some research and go with your gut. I plan on doing a larger lift later on and this just gives me the ability to increase my tires size and keep the expense fox shocks I paid for. When I get my monies worth out of it I’ll move on to bigger and better things. Good luck with whatever path you choose I’m sure it’ll be awesome regardless.

Thank guys I figured that’s what you would say about the coach builder being better than the blocks. Yeah I would not add the blocks. When I had my 15 Tacoma years ago I had the bilsteins 5100’s and add a leaf in the rear. I had no issues in the rear and it rode and handled good. I assume if you guys are going with the Westcott kit your going with 295’s, And I assume the plus 3 will make it level with the Westcott.

We ended up going with Westcott up front, Toytech add a leaf, CB +1 shackles, and firestone airbags w/ daystar cradles in the back. So for I'm really happy with it. Ride is great with only my Decked drawers and some gear inside but it gives me adjustability for heavy loads and towing the trailer. As it sits I have just over an inch of rake.

Westcott front and CB +3, poly bushings and Cb drop kit is now installed. My guy who does installs for a major Toyota dealer was super impressed. He had never heard of either.

Rides better now. Not so floaty but not too stiff.... and is better around turns. Should be the stock set up IMO.
