So I really wanted a bull bar on the front, mostly for the paint protection in the parking garage. My previous vehicle has some dings from getting too close. I picked this one up from @Landman500. Just and FYI, I am a trial and error guy, so cut me some slack.

So the first thing I noticed was the tow hooks would not fit with the mounts, due to the little extra bit sticking out. I ground some off and it worked. IMG_2764.jpg

Then I saw the hook itself interfered with the mounting holes on the bracket, so I flipped the tow hooks around backwards, and viola, worked fine.

So now I still have a hook, and if I take the bar off I can turn them back around.

Thanks, if I had seen they were not going to work, I would not have had to grind anything, just flipping them backwards had plenty of clearance already. My grandpa always said measure twice cut once. I have a hard time with that. :(
