Well, I figured since I've added a few little things I'd go ahead and create a build page as well. Mine will be pretty slow going, ha, but fun all the same. Got a lot on the agenda to have done.

    2016 Tundra CM SR5 TSS

The TSS Off Road came with the upgraded 20" Black Tundra wheels and BFG KO2 285/55R20, and came with the Black step bars, Black out badges, and Black exhaust tip. Also had them add the body color fender flares.

    IMG_0002.jpg

I also had them add the Black and Red Katzkin leather.

    IMG_0014.jpg

    IMG_0012.jpg

Today I add the black Tundra tailgate insert letters:

Things to come are: LEDs, Headlights & Taillights, TRD Pro grille, black out the chrome bumpers, 3/1 lift, wheels & tires later on. So we'll see how it goes, ha.

Simple, but just ordered me some Tundra door sill protectors and a 2 USB power port to replace one of the cigarette lighters. I'll post pics once they come in and get them on.

Looking good, love those Katzkins and want some for mine but afraid to look up the price on em.

Plus installation does not sound fun.

Thanks. I am fortunate to have inside connections at the dealership, so I was able to get them for $900 installed. I think they are normally about $1,200-$1,400. I know there are some other brands as well that people seem to really like that are cheaper.

I wouldn't have expected any rubbing since you just bought her from Toyota in that configuration. But, how much clearance do you have ... let's just say do you think a 295/55/20 (4/10th of an inch wider and nearly 1/4 of an inch taller) would rub?

I would think there would be plenty of room, although I haven't looked at it closely. I'd have to turn it and check it out.

Got my windows tinted yesterday, and got my door sills and USB port in the mail as well.

    Installed the sills:

This is the USB port, will install this weekend.

I love those TSS models. They aren't offered up North, which is good because the salt on the road would probably destroy those awesome wheels.

I love the look of that leather too! Nice rig!

Very happy to report that I got the USB port installed. Hardest part was figuring out how to get the existing cigarette plug out.

Took the negative off the battery, parking brake and popped the tab to put it in neutral. Unscrewed the shifter and popped off the center console.
    image.jpg

That exposed the cigarette lighter plug.

    image.jpg

Took a little finagling but got it out.

    image.jpg

Put the new one in and it fit like a champ. Tightned the nut down and good to go.

    image.jpg
    image.jpg

Next was to wire it in. It came with wire taps but the original harness had 2 red and 2 black. Wasn't sure what to use and on examination I noticed the prongs at the end of the new wire looked exactly like that of the original plug. Looked the right size so I used a razor blade to trim the plastic around the prong.

    image.jpg

Plugged them into their proper side and fit perfect.

    image.jpg

Battery back on to test it and I'm high 5ing myself, It Worked!!!

    image.jpg

Plugged in the phone and it's charging!!

    image.jpg

Wrapped it in electrical tape to make sure they stayed plugged in, zip tied the excess wire and put the console back together.

Was the original socket held in by a nut on the back or just pressure fitted into the location?

Think just pressure because it took a little to get it off. Not a nut to screw off. Here is a pick of it...

No problem. Now on to the next, I think the floor liners and the plastic EPS storage under the back seat.
