So I stopped by my local Ford dealer and checked out the inventory, lots of $100k+ trucks sitting around. One was kinda special. The have at least 20 of the Shelby trucks and I have no idea how many Raptors DE6D66F4-826A-414F-9280-3B11F52929F7.jpgDBFCFC3C-B891-4687-BEA4-069D3FB35657.jpgAAF07E05-D247-427A-8100-9D7423258CAD.jpg6520271E-9648-4FE8-B87C-8ACC2239CE35.jpgA077E03A-010F-4096-9C65-C84F31C8FEAA.jpg87D3E1F2-B8E6-4C98-BB6D-100DFEF5C41C.jpg

Saw this F350 version at Willow Springs raceway last week. No idea who makes it, but there was some detail on that thing.

That F-350 6x6 was built by the Diesel Brothers. It was purchase by DJ Marshmello for promotional use. It was originally black and they wrapped it in the matte army green.

Hennessey makes some bad ass vehicles. Ford or not, if you love cars and trucks for what they are, you cannot deny that thing is bad ass. Twin turbo v8 with 600+ hp and torque. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean you should knock it and if you can afford one, buy me one! Hahaha

Yes, Hennessy does kick ass with their vehicle modifications! However, I’m still at a loss with the rationale for a six wheeled, regular full-size pickup truck?? If it’s a concept vehicle for show to draw people to your lot, then I can understand the gimmicks! But, there aren’t any practical purpose to that particular setup for a pickup.

Now, with that said, where Ford is concerned, they are having a hard time right now moving all those over priced pickup trucks. There is a big ass Ford dealership across the street from where I work. In the more than 9 years since I have been working at that location, I can count on one hand, the number of times I have ever seen more than 3-4 people at the Ford dealership all at the same time.

At one point, I thought that this dealership was a distribution center, instead of a dealership. Anyway, I figured that I would go over there to see what was up. I walked across the street and, as soon as, I crossed the line on to the dealership’s property, the salesmen mugged my ass! I can understand why they were so aggressive, though. So, I decided to let the sole female saleswoman show me some used trucks (had no intention of buying ANYTHING). To my surprise, they had at least 7 $100K plus pickup trucks on the lot. There is no way in hell, that I would spend that much money on any pickup truck in my lifetime, much less, a Ford!!

I drive a tandem all day long. It just scrubs off the tires. I wonder how it would be hauling a big 5th wheel?
