I already talked to a ranger. He said there won’t be any snow cuz it’s only 4000ft. But I’m going up to 8000ft. Gah.

Honestly not sure. There's got to be some sort of snow report that can be looked up online

It's been a pretty shitty snow season. I'm doubting any snow up there. It will prob be cold as fu:censored: tho at 8000ft.

Loose rocks, little rock crawling, some area is very narrow but not challenged to my gen1 at all except some scratches.

Sounds good! I forgot to ask, how long a run (time, miles) was that? Did you camp, or day trip?

The total miles from Lake Havasu City to Alamo Lake was 86 miles (10am - 7PM, we also took many stops). We camped there over night. Since my tire was blowout I decided to take the pave road to hwy 60 Salome and then 10 west home.
My original plan was come back the trail to LHC with friends and go home from there.
We should do the Mojave road some time.

Sounds great! I figure after a couple more of these easy local runs, at least a few of us will feel ready to go a little farther. And camp. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Word on the street is the Nor Cal guys are doing a trip to Death Valley around that time and we should crash the party :stirthepot:

I'm just joking though, I've gotta go to NYC in April for a wedding and the wife and I need to save our pennies :(

We camped over there for our anniversary. It's an awesome camp ground:yes:

The hiking trail is a little brutal but the payoff view at the top is amazing :)

    Thanks!

Song's not perfect (Tundras' baby brother), but still a fun California variation of the usual country truck song.

@Sunnier ill answer in here as to not clutter your trip thread.

The M-ogf-I-L is awesome :) she's a lot of fun, and very nice. It's great that my gf and her get to spend some time together. Since she moved to AZ she only sees here every few months.

Got my truck detailed, swapped over to a color matched grille, just need to replace a couple more parts and I should have my current truck listed for sale this weekend. I have a couple trucks in mind, but really depends if they're still available when I have the cash in hand.
