My truck is still out. Too busy to work on it right now. Hopefully I get a chance to work on it first couple of weeks in January. Aiming towards the end of Jan.... by Feb. for sure.

All this working to get the BASTRDs down here. Pleeeease wait a minute. My progress from this point is very much predicated on the availability of parts and other people... but the very earliest I think possible will be the very end of February. And @papasmurf might tell me, I'm smoking crack, hoping for that!

Any suggestions to see in NorCal? Heading up there on the 21st and slowly making our way back down.

I’d definitely recommend taking a stop at Pismo beach to camp if that’s something you’re into

Big Basin Redwoods State Park is a cool spot.

I highly highly recommend Alices Restaurant on skyline Blvd.

What kind of stuff do you want to do?

Limekiln State Park off Hwy. 1 near Lucia. Don't camp on the beachside tho. As we were setting up camp, a huge wave washed thru our camp. Instead camped under the redwoods.

I wasn't wearing my glasses in the morning and was cruising around the dunes and was all "let's jam up this hill"
I didn't see the whoops at the base of the hill where I had the most speed :rofl:

I thought the damn shell was going to fly off! Hahahaha.

With my previous taco I busted all the fender flares off, in the dunes, hitting a set of whoops too fast. I'll never learn :burnrubber:

We will be camping each night.
We want to bomb our way up to the southern most point of Oregon and then journey down from there. We want some snow and red woods on this trip.

We want to hit some dirt and try to do some dispersed camping each night/day if we can. We will be in RTT and running stock ATX tires.

We are staying inland mostly we want to save the coastal drive for a different trip I think. But we aren't against changing our the plans for a must see type of thing.

I'll update the 'Sunnier Got 4x4/ Help Build It' thread. I'm hoping for input on placement of 2 sets of BD lights and 1 set of Black Oak. And I need to order sliders soon... because, well, those that have been out with me know, if I go out in a truck that will climb over boulders, I'll do it. :anonymous:

I plan to start an actual build thread once we have parts in hand and the build actually starts. I know the one main rule:
    :worthless:.

Effective immediately: no cameras, drones, or live human witnesses of any kind may accompany SoCal Meet-and-Play dirt runs.

Yes. Pretty much exactly like that run you made without your glasses when you hit those whoops! (Except these guys aren't going nearly fast enough, nor saying anything funny into the radio.)
