Any ideas on next trip?

corona virus has afforded me /w some time off.

 

No big Shenanigans shit show trips with handshaking and what-not ‘til we get through this period, but little outings of just a few trucks exploring around, visiting through open windows . Just post up a route or area you want to do, and when you want to do it, and likely you’ll get takers to arrange a meet via PM. Several members I know are doing this.

 

Cool, I am so very bored. But, I ain’t sick.

Lookin like that. I’ve been WFH all week, so that’ll keep on going.
I hear we can still go out for grocery stores, gas stations, and medical necessities.
I wonder if a wheeling and camping trip is considered a “necessity” because I think it is.

Apparently I’m exempt from work ban <cough cough bullshit>

 

I am technically exempt too, but took the day off and will see what sorta shenanigans they got for me next week.

Hey, does the shelter in place keep us from traveling out of state? Anyone know for sure??

 

At my job if we travel out of state, I have to be cleared by our health services Dept before we can come back

 

I’m here at work also for now. We will see what later today brings us.

 

At least we’re not alone. They are suppose to update us today also, but I doubt they will send us home (cheap bastards)

 

im currently not allowed to travel for work, and working from home. That being said, im not sure on a complete travel ban for everyone based on Newsomes directive last night

I guess I can’t complain too much and just be thankful I’ve still got a job. One of our other departments just got sent home on some furlough mess if you don’t have PTO, it’s no pay

my department is deemed too essential to shut down

 

My new “office”....... I miss driving the Tundra

 

Was expecting to be working through this but today we were all sent home for a minimum of 2 weeks. Nothing to do but shoot guns and hang out in the back country. I can't leave because technically they put us on call and I can't even work on home projects because all the stores are closed...this is going to be a long few weeks. Hope you guys are all doing well

 

Oh, thank goodness! I’d inadvertently put my phone’s browser in some weird private mode that wouldn’t let me into the forum. Whew! I’m back.

long weeks for sure. if it gets too long the remedy might be worst than the disease...a lot of livelihoods are being impacted...
