Weight rating for bed anchors?

    A 700 lb four wheeler will have a high center of gravity on that rack. Makes me pucker to think of the "loaded" rack overturning. How much does that rack weigh?

    Loads at those cables and D-rings rings will be increased substantially by the overturning moment. If it were me, I would engineer some 2X2 (same as rack?) steel tube braces running from the top of the rack to the stake holes in the top of the bed sides to counteract that overturning moment. They should have bolted ends so they can be installed and tightened AFTER the rack is positioned in the bed. Little bit more trouble to install, heck of a lot safer for everybody. Are you going to DRIVE that 4wheeler up that rack to load it? :D

    If that's not a commercially available rack, that's some dang nice fabrication. :thumbsup:
