i just purchased a 2016 Crewmax and want to buy some floor liners for it. I have seen some posts regarding both the Weathertech floor liners and the Husky weatherbeaters but I am still unsure which is best. I appreciate any input. I don't mind paying more for the weathertech if they are better. I also wonder if it's best to buy husky fronts and WT for the rear. Thanks in advance for your input.

I've bought both and now I have some other new brand (cheaper). Can't go wrong with any of them, they all fit about the same and did the same job and I got all the same compliments.

I have Husky WeatherBeater. I know that 2nd gen Tundra owners have had problems with sliding passenger side liner with WeatherTech. That was one of the primary reasons why I went with Husky. Do 3rd gen owners have the same problem with front passenger side liner?

You may also want to check out Maxpider 3D's. I got the 15% discount and think I paid something like $140 for the set. Don't let the price fool you, these are really well made.

    http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com/Floor-Mats-Liners/3D-Maxpider-Kagu-Floor-Liners

I had weathertechs in my old f150 and actually like the maxpiders better. They look a little more refined especially for you platinum and 1794 guys with leather. Fronts and back fit perfectly and they have Velcro-like underneath so they don't move at all. Only drawbacks are it's not made in the US and the sidewalls aren't as high. You can't go spilling a 2 liter of soda on it and it may not be the best for extreme mudding. I'm not sure how these will fit on Crews but they're perfect in doublecabs. I'll try and get a few pics this weekend if the weather cooperates.

I have Husky X-Act Contour front and rear, and I love them. Front passenger comes with a plastic anchor to secure it to the floor so it won't slide around. Rear mat does not cover underneath the back seat but that was ok with me.

IMO, the best rear liner for the crewmax is WeatherTech. It covers the floor all the way back to the seat mounts - a plus when the seats are folded up.
The nicest liner for the front is the Husky X-act Contour. Unfortunately, they're only available in black.
While not as elegant, the Husky Weatherbeater goes up the firewall about 1.5" higher than either the X-act contour or the WeatherTech. It's important if you deal with slush or mud and wear anything larger than a size 10 boot.
The Huskies - both kinds - have small pointed nipples all over the back of the liner. They absolutely won't slide around.
I have a pair of Maxpiders for summertime use in the front. They're very nice. The back side design provides an almost velcro-like interface with the carpet.

    Best Regards,

Thanks for the information. Sounds like it might be best to install husky in the front and WT in the rear. I would buy husky in the rear as well if I knew they would cover the area under the seat

I have the Husky X-acts front and rear. They fit perfect and have more of a rubber feel then plastic which helps them to mold to the floor better.

I have Weathertech in the rear covering the whole floor and underneath the back seats then I picked up some Husky fronts off a guy on craigslist. The weathertech passenger front side moved around on me quite a bit. That is the reason I used the husky fronts with the passenger side anchor. I'm not alone in the problems with the front passenger. I even talked to weathertech about it and they sent me a "Fix". All it was, was two thin Velcro strips about 8" long that didn't help anything really. I waited 3 weeks in anticipation to get the "Fix" upgrade and I could have just picked that Velcro up at the local hardware store or even at hobby lobby if I actually went in with my wife.

I had WeatherTechs in my last Tacoma and my Impreza and like them. When I bought my Tundra though I thought I'd give Husky a try. In watching YouTube video comparisons though, I ended up ordering Michelin Edge Liners. They had some features that I really liked.

They're due to arrive Thursday, so we'll see. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

I went with the maxpider 3Ds in the front and I have to say it is a well made product. Then I went with the Husky for the backseat since it goes all they way underneath the seat of the CM. I’ll post some pictures when I get a chance
