I've been debating on moving myself toward a more traditional graveyard or later swing schedule :notsure:

I just freakin hate being up during the day. I'm always tired :(... But, if I sleep during the day and get up around 4pm, I feel great all night through early morning! Plus, we've got some pretty neat sunrises and early morning fog, etc. here on the coast in the mornings that I'm not getting to see now (I get up around 930-1000ish)

... although I do have to get up a bit early tomorrow. I promised the wife I'd get her SS3s installed on her Forester tomorrow. It looks like you pop a few fender liner clips and access from the back, but no videos available for '22s yet, and the videos for other years and models are all over the place. Some show access from the back, some back and front and that thing sits pretty low so not much clearance under there. My plan is to throw it on a couple of ramps to give me some extra room to work. I'm getting too old to crawl around on my back and fidget w/my arm and hand twisted up into weird angles.

I did find a technician bulletin for replacing the bulbs, and it seemed access was much easier than any videos I saw online... keeping the fingers crossed!! I need a shop; with a rack; and a Tesla mural :D

Her factory fogs suck ass, so I'm hoping these SS3 Pros will help considerably.

My fogs are garbage as well. Completely worthless. Need to replace them soon.

That was one of the first upgrades I did, the halogen head/fog lights blow on the Tundra. Got the Pro headlights and some knockoff LED fogs. Going on 3+ years with them

The Rigid fogs that came w/my '21 Pro aren't bad. The wife's Forester has LED headlights and halogen fogs :notsure:.... I'm not sure what they were thinking w/that design. But, in dense fog they freakin suck.

The Rigids in my Pro are bright, but it's white light which really doesn't cut through the fog very well. I installed those Rigid amber snap covers over the OE Pro fogs, which helps cut the fog better, but the cover reduces light output and it's not the same as a yellow/amber bulb.

So, I'll probably be replacing these next year. I want to see the performance of the SS3 Pros in heavy fog as I'm debating on getting the SS3 Pros vs SS3 Max...

I was sleeping. On days this week. Don't be :jellydance: :p

If it makes you feel better it was fitful sleep until after 1 AM. Then I slept pretty good until my alarm went off. Looked at my phone and it was 20 minutes after my first alarm. Bit of a rush this morning.

@LarryDangerfield how realistic is the hope for days on your end? Would it be a permanent shift to days, so no more nights, ever?

 You forgot the science article that was posted a while back. White and yellow cut through the fog the exact same, it's all in how your eyes perceive the difference between the two.

I am on your side though and would like a pair of ambers instead of the whites that I have now.

It is permanent as long as me and that guy both stay employed and in our current positions. He's switched on me once so I'm just going to enjoy it as long as it lasts, just like last time; appreciative of each month switched.

Side note, just tried a unique breakfast at a local restaurant. Bluegill with eggs and hash browns. Not a huge fish person but it wasn't too bad.

Good deal. Is he just a night owl? Is there a shift differential for nights that he wants?

Braver than I am. No way I'd do fish with eggs, and certainly not to start my day.

Both, he prefers nights and likes the extra money.
Hey, got to be adventurous sometimes! Admittedly it does sound weird and I won't be getting it again but I'm glad I tried it

I wouldn't fault anybody for eating it, but I don't think it'd agree with me.

What's the shift differential? I wish we got more for nights. :(
