Has anyone had any leaks when it rains into cabin coming from bed light?
    My truck is a 2022 SR5 Tundra.
Every time it rains it leaks into cabin. I have stains of water coming in, and dealer keeps saying its from window.

Have the dealer close the window then spray it with a garden hose. Then have them fix it under warranty.

    ^^

They eventually issued a recall for this but it took years for them to do it.

I never had an issue in my Tacoma but got the recall done anyway

Several have had leaks around the drive side grab handle, related to the sunroof pan/drain. Ive not seen this one yet. You need to notify your dealer.

Yup, I got the recall done as well. I live in the PNW and didn’t want to risk it.

Wow, the hits keep on coming. Hope you can get the dealer to act. If not, call Toyota and get a case manager assigned. I've done it twice so far. My truck had been in the shop for about 5 weeks and a case manager got some heads rolling and had my truck repaired and back 3 days later.

    Good luck!

Yep, not a single regret on passing on my '22 build. Maybe I'll revisit in '24 if the the bugs are ironed by then...
Unfortunate that you're dealing with this!

My brain keeps reading your original post and it keeps saying, "Sooooooo what?"

Your dealer says it's the window. Fine. Whatever. Either way they should see the problem and immediately want to fix it. Windows aren't supposed to leak when closed. So, unless they're claiming you're leaving the window open, then they should move to fix it.

Also...not to sound like an a-hole, I promise...it might be worth giving your dealership service writer & technician a reminder on basic hydrology. Water flows down and almost always follows the path of least resistance. If it were leaking from the window, it would flow down the window. Not flow up into the headliner like that. Sure, there might be some "soaking" of the headliner, but not like what you've pictured.

Any person can see that it's likely coming from the brake light...which is above the headliner. Any person with a water hose can test this. I'm sorry, but your dealership sounds dumb.

Side note: I'm assuming you don't have a sun roof since it's an SR5. As a result, when you say "window" I'm also assuming that your dealership is referring to the back window and not trying to blame this on a sunroof.
