Hey everyone. I have a 2002 tundra sr5. I have a leak somewhere that comes in and drips on the fuse box under the steering wheel. The windshield seal looks pretty good. I quickly asked someone at a dealership and they said maybe a drain is clogged. Tried looking under the cowl but I couldn't get my wipers off. Nothing was sticking out from what I could see under there. Anyone have any ideas? Anything would help. Thank you.

The most common two places to check is the A/C drain and sunroof drains if you have a sunroof.

I don't know where the A/C drain is on your 2002, but it is probably a hose that comes out under the truck near the back of the engine compartment. You may even find a you tube video of someone clearing this drain.

No sunroof so can scratch that, I'll look at the AC drains for sure! Thanks.

The cowl grommets have foam washers and they can go bad and start to leak. If you end up pulling the cowl, you an get new ones here

Blew out the ac drain, think it was ok but figured it wouldn't hurt. Took off the cowl and put silicone around all the grommets. I was missing a few of the cowl clips, put silicone around those and replaced the clips. I was missing the 2 outer clips. Maybe that was the leak??

Thanks to everyone on this forum for hopefully solving the leakage problem onto the floor of the passenger area. IT wasn't the windshield as I originally suspected. Just replaced and sealed the clips and screws that hold the black plastic cowl in place. Lets hope that fixes it. Thank you.
