So I ordered a foam cannon and a couple of soaps and they should be in today. I've never used one before so any advice is appreciated. Is it just a wash and rinse like at a car wash? Or do I need to scrub (if that's the case I need advice on what to buy to scrub with too...). Best mix ratio? As I said, new to me so any advice is appreciated! Thanks guys!

It just creates a shitload of suds and presoaks the vehicle. Should say on the foam cannon instructions but its usually takes just a couple ounces of wash. You still need to scrub with a washmit using the 2 bucket method (one just water, one with soap/water) to get all the tougher stuff off like grime and bugs.

I typically use a washmit similar to one of these:

Thank you!!! I'm gonna do the first round on my side by side to test things out....I purchased the chemical guys black light soap and the bodywash & wax. Were those good choices? I don't have a mitt or even a bucket for that matter so I'll just be washing and rinsing, the truck isn't very dirty right now anyhow

I really figured I'd let it dry then go over it with the spray detailer you helped me decide on last time I had a question about this stuff!

It's for sale!!!! And yes the grille center is plastidip....I've been down the pressure washer/plastidip road before, just at car washes, never had my own pressure washer before.

And man, I had that honeydew in my cart and then at the last minute swapped it for something that mentioned wax!!!! Maybe I just shoulda stuck with it but I let my lazy side win lol
