Warm up idle

    All weather Tundra floor mats, spray bed liner Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau
    I know that the 5.7 Tundra has a pretty fast idle during warm up, however is it normal for the idle to rise up and down sporadically until it finally settles down?
    I didn’t notice this happening until the temperatures started to dip into the single digits.
    Should I have this looked at?

    Mine starts with a high idle and then slowly calms down. Sometimes it will adjust up and down a little bit. Also it depends if your AC or defroster are on.

    This ^^^ You will hear the rev and sound of the engine change to lower revs. About 30 secs to a min depending on temp.
