Check your local Craigslist area and surrounding, also OfferUp, 5mile, Let go, found mine off OfferUp when I briefly had a '13, forgot to take off when I traded

I’ve been looking around for the past few weeks with no luck. Hopefully something comes up soon though :pccoffee:.

Did you use it a lot? Did you like it?

I was loading my riding mower into my truck and realized that I need one. I’ll look into that brand since the other ones that I found were almost $300. Thanks man

NO LONGER HAVE A TUNDRA... Waiting
installed one on mine... it was a PITA to install it, would I do it again? Probably not. I would considering selling it but... it's such a PITA that I don't want to take it off.. I used it once since installing it, then I got a bed rug that runs to the tailgate so sometimes I just jump and climb on onto my knees on the bedrug. LOL

If you cut the metal piece you don’t have to take the trim or bumper off. It’s about 30min job.

Lol. Do you hear any noise while driving? I read somewhere that some people were complaining about noise coming from the step when they installed the BesTop

I can’t imagine how anyone would hear a tiny piece of plastic tucked a half inch below the bumper that’s probably 10+ feet away from the driver. I definitely do not hear anything.

I've got mine in the box waiting at home to install. I guess there are 2 different part numbers if you go with the AMP Research brand. If your truck has steel brackets underneath you use part number 75309-01A and if your truck has resin inner bumper structure you need part number 75316-01A. Local shop sold me the wrong one...I installed it and it bolted up just fine, but the alignment was not looking right at all. It would hit the truck when in the closed position and the step didn't follow the truck body lines at all. Had to take that ugly thing off and return it. Got the right one now and hope to find the time this weekend to install it. Attached pictures of the wrong one that was installed :(

Which inner structure did you have? I had no idea there was different ones, thanks for the heads up!

I have the steel inner structure and they gave me the resin inner structure part number. My truck is a 2017 Limited.

I have the OEM one sitting in my garage. I opened it up to start the install, but decided against it. Make me an offer, and let me know what city and state so we can incorporate shipping.. it is brand new, minus opening it.

I thought the oem step came with a replacement bracket though? Or does this just apply to the AMP step?

I can’t imagine that little piece of metal does anything during a significant impact. Hack that thing off, coat bare metal w paint, and install. Unless the other manufacturers are vastly different from the amp version, the install is very simple.

It’s a very study well made product.

Ok so I’ve been reading into the install. One of the things that keep coming up is that people cut the old bracket in order to gain access to those bolts and clips. Since the bracket gets replaced this makes a lot of sense. What do you think of this?

Installing my amp bed step right now...how in the hell do you get the bumper bracket out to put the new one in? Every way I try to tilt or move the stock bracket I don't seem to have enough room to get it out. Help....help...

I had one of those on my 17 TSS. It was such a PITA to install, I said screw it and left it on the trade in. I really never used it, so I'm not even considering replacing it. My point is to make sure it's something that's going to be used.

Got it. Thanks for the quick replies guys. I eventually gave up trying to finese it out of there, so out came the sawzall. Install was not too bad aside from removing the stock bracket. I would have liked to save it, but oh well, likely wouldn't have been used for anything anyway.
