    We’ll team Tundras. Here I am with another vote about my truck. You have the power to change my trucks life forever or lever B. @SR5TRDTUNDRA found me a decent enough used shortbox for me.
    I off-road often so shorter wheelbase is handy.
    Working on trucks in my shop is my favourite thing to do, so the work excites me.
    The question is should I man up and cut my 290xxx mile truck up to 5.5’ box it? Or leave it the 6.5’ box?

    You decide my future. :yes:

    *Edit* I will be keeping this truck forever. So resale value isn’t a factor :)

    Also I will be building a full length roof rack. So either way I’ll be able to carry full length lumber and ladders etc.

    The double cab 6.5 bed and the crewmax have the same wheelbase. So you would end up with a shortbed double cab. The only thing you would gain would be less bed behind the axle.
