I tried to order mine a few months ago directly from Meso but ended up ordering it from Tacomabeast.com after watching a Chloe Kuo YouTube video.
I just checked and it looks like all the reseller websites are sold out too.

I'm just glad to know a workaround exists. I'll hop on the waiting list and see what happens.

I will post my experience with it here and why i am returning the volume fix it kit.
Kit installed fine. Function as intended. But….
    3 cons for me.
    1) led does not match oem. More turquoise/green than oem icy blue.
    2) dimmer than oem
    3) led does not show through all the icon on the buttons. Particularly the vol up area to the left corner. Darker there.
If you are some what ocd, these 3 cons will drive you up the wall. Especially at night time. Every time you look down you can clearly see the led does not match and one side will be dimmer, the left side.

Look at the photo below. Notice the volume up button. That corner is more dark?
Now see both sides of the steering wheel. Factory icy blue on the right, then meso on the left. You can easily tell it is not the same led color. In the photo it shows meso side is brighter but in person it is NOT.

much more noticeable in person. Especially the dark area on the volume buttons.

for these are the reason i am returning mine after 15mins with it installed.

I will also throw out there, if you have the stock head unit this now switches which way forward and back are when switching radio stations. I like that this fixes the volume, but honestly I think I'm more annoyed now. I also support the comments about the color being off and the volume + and volume - are not fully illuminated. First time I got in at night, I thought I had a bad Meso kit since its really obvious that its not matching. But its been an issue with the kit since first release and is mentioned in the forum and in the reviews on the Meso site, if you don't really drive at night or have issues with the light being different, and if you have an aftermarket head unit you can switch which button is forward and which is back. The rest of the quality is nice.

Yeah, i just send it back this morning. They provided the shipping label through the website, after i submitted a return request. We will see whether i get my full refund or not. I didn’t want someone to get what i had if it’s bad or what not..

That's an interesting observation and I have never noticed any of those issues with mine.

Perhaps my ocd has gotten worse over the year, unbeknown to me. Lol

I'm going to take a really good look at mine tonight. I'm very OCD and have never noticed any issue.

I would. But base off of my photo. You can tell the led color are different, yes?

Yes, your photo shows it well and the one I bought last year looks the same as yours and I annoys me for the same reasons.

Your OCD won't allow you to accept these small flaws? Yet it will allow you to use the original switch the design of which is assbackwards and makes no sense? Glad I don't have any of that. Has already saved me hundreds not having to delete chrome, paint match anything, put stickers all over or debadge, color coordinate interior pieces etc... Whatever, TEHO

Indeed, you are fortunate to not have any of the ocd and are ok with the way the truck came as is. I agreed, “TEHO”. But, IMO any parts, may it be performance or aesthetic, are to enhance end-user experience. With a part that ‘fix’ 1 flaw but yet provided you with ‘3’ other flaws. I would rather live with the way it came from factory than dealing with 3 other flaws.

Im still waiting on mine to arrive in the mail, the led colours even in your picture to me look the same but the brightness on that one would kill me, lets hope they are not all like that.

I just put one of these on my 2018, ordered on a Wednesday, had it on Monday. I just couldn’t handle the backwards OEM switch any longer.

    https://mesocustoms.com/collections...l-control-fix-kit?_pos=1&_sid=4a58bfc36&_ss=r

I read through the previous comments here and will say that the lighting color on mine is a match for OEM. It was an easy 15 minute install and it works perfectly. Very good tactile feel, controls work as expected, I do have an aftermarket head unit but have no issues with skipping.

Overall a very good upgrade, well worth the $50 it cost me just so I’m not cursing every time I want to change the volume.

Yeah, I would just learn to use the OEM. To me (and YMMV), not enough of a nuisance to warrant the potential complications therewith.

I have to many cars and trucks rather it be the way I want, the next part is the wiper stock but that one I barely use so we’ll see but it’s always backwards pull in vs flap down/up vs other automotive manufacturers no one’s decided and which way is standard yet.

I love that about the toyota community... The first time I used the steering wheel controls in my tacoma i was confused why the volume and song skip was backwards. But I got used to it. Meanwhile someone else changed it and made it a product! good stuff
