    I saw a similar thread around here and figured I may get some good suggestions.

    We visited NYC years ago and loved it. Now we’re looking at going back with our kids (13 and 5).

    I’m wondering if anyone has any advice if it’s still even safe anymore? (Mainly because of the kids and no ability to even travel with a gun in the state of NY).

    We live in rural Indiana so we’re pretty sheltered from a lot of the craziness I see on the news in these big cities.
