    X2 on this!

I really like the Southern Style Offroad slimline bumper, and as far as I know SSO are the only ones making one for Tundras.
They dont offer matching rear bumper which turns me off though. Id like front and rear to match.

I got a badass hitch but no badass bumper to match.

Welcome OP. Good luck with everything. I'll be keeping an eye out on your products, especially some sliders. If you ever need a crewmax for prototype depending how far I'd consider a road trip lol.

That monster hitch does help make up for the lack of rear armor! Haha

Welcome Brian. I'd like to see a bed rack along the lines of what Voodo is doing, only I'd like to see one that fits over my Bakflip Mx4 and allows at least one or two of the sections to be opened so I don't have to go cave diving for gear when the rack is attached.

    Lost track after #1.
I've actually already contacted them about this. With the shackle mounts and such they said it sticks out about 5" beyond stock. Waaay too much unfortunately.

Like this idea. I'd be interested in a rack that I can use with my diamondback cover that would support a RTT. Allowing to be able to open the cover with the rack. Gotta sit lower than roof though. I'd even be willing to attach and detach when needed. Something that mounts into bed rail slides that I can attach and detach as needed, but when attached the cover can be closed and used.

Since it opens like this I'm guessing the only way to get the most function out of it would be to drill into it w crossbars. I'd be open to the crossbars that I could mount in the factory bed rail slides and be useable with the cover closed. To do so, the crossbars would actually have to start their upward angle from outside the bed rail. Then when I'm not using I can remove them if I want. That would be awesome, but I'm guessing the drilling into the cover with 2 crossbars might be best. Then I can open cover with them still on. I'd just have to space them out to still get my ATV up there.

See what I mean about starting upward crossbar angle outside the bed rail. Again, guessing drilling in 2 permanent cross bars might be better option. But I like flexibility of like the relentless cross bars and how they mount. They just wouldn't work with my cover.

I know it's probably way down the priority list, but many of us would like to see sliders for First Gen Tundras. 00-06. There are very few, if any, companies producing these. The only people I've seen with sliders had them custom made.

Welcome to the Toyota crowd!! I am very familiar with your JCR line of products on my XJ.

For anyone that has any questions, these guys are VERY well respected in the Jeep world. If only they made pre-96 XJ doors though...... (hint, hint....) Otherwise, they make very good products for Jeeps. I was curious if you guys were going to jump into the Tundra market once I saw Darryl(not sure how to spell his name) and his new blue Tacoma on YouTube. Good to see another quality company jump on-board to provide quality products for our platform.

I second the bumper portion of this. Nobody makes a bumper that relocates the hitch. For those of us that actually wheel our trucks, this is the biggest limiting factor for departure angle. If you guys needed a 3rd gen to mock it off of, Id be willing to work something out and drive mine up. I am in Indiana.

My wish list is diff skid, shock mount protection, and a rear bumper that can incorporate parking/rear cross traffic.

@brimy311 i cant begin to tell you how many people thought another vendor was gonna make rear diff skid, and there were at least 50-100 of us ready to buy as soon as they released them... well that was a year ago, we all still sit and wait hoping for a rear diff skid... id say its a cheap and easy thing to produce and design. If i had a plasma table id do one myself. Anyway, this would be a great opportunity for ya

I feel there is a guarentee to sell 100+ easy in the first couple months of it being produced and sold. I mean look at what the RCI group buy did.

Agreed, on a lot of this.... but the problem I see with most every aftermarket bumper is deer/ animal protection. Thats why I purchased a fab fours bumper and had the shop drill out holes for the sensors. Unfortunately though it still does not provide enough coverage if I was to smoke a buck on either side of the bumper.

    Adding to this list:
    front:
Full front coverage, that still looks clean and mean
    Works with the TSS system
Plenty of room/ options for lights, i fabbed in two sets of @bajadesigns squadron pro's into the fab fours holes, would love a place to mount a 10-30 amber bar in the bumper as well
Lighter weight- most of these bumpers are super heavy
Durable powder coat or a bare metal option

    rear:
BSM and cross traffic and sonar sensor compatible
clean lines, most of the bumpers go for the mad max look
    greater departure angle
    lightweight
durable PC or bare metal option

To do it right would be a major project, I have spoken with a few fab shops about it and it is no easy task to make it clean, strong, and have no shit hanging off of it to get caught i.e. bolts and nuts.

What type of design were you asking fab shops about?

that seems pretty reasonable to do.. I like how it attaches... pretty simple to do id imagine. No welding is a nice feature for the DIY guys who dont have welders.

    AGREED...
A high clearance rear bumper that wraps around all the way back to the wheel-well would be AWESOME.
Yeah, some cutting would be required, but rear clearance is the my main concern when I look at a section of trail that I need to tackle. I've seen plenty of pics of folks that tag the rear and push it up into the rear qtr panels.

I like those top plates and how they act as good steps. That’s one important feature for me so you might have my business! Keep up the good work. Another thing I’m looking for is that it is 100% bolt on application. No driving new holes at all.

Can you design a bed rack that works with tonneau covers?

    Keep us updated!
