We picked up a 2018 platinum tundra to build up. The goal is to build an overlanding truck that can keep up with our Tacoma!

The plan is to prototype a new product line for the tundra and put it into production! We specialize in armor so, bumpers, sliders, skids, etc. If there is a product you feel is missing, let me know and I’ll look into options to produce it!

    Build plans:
    Suspension
BDS 3” C/O kit with Fox DSC - Installed!

    Tires and wheels
    35x12.5r17 Falken AT/3 - Installed!
Method Grids, 0mm Offset - Installed!

    Recovery
    Warn Zeon 10-s
    Factor55 Ultra hook and fairlead
    60” Xtreme Hi lift jack

    Performance
    AFE power Cat-Back - Installed!
    AFE resonator - Installed!
    AFE power CAI - Installed!

    Gear/Accessories
Free Spirit High Country Roof Top Tent
    10L Road Shower

Planned Parts to product with Victory4x4
Front Bumpers; Factory Integrated and full custom
    Rear Bumper; With/Without Carrier
    Bed Rack
    Sliders
    Full Underbody Skids
Other things as they come up

Chrome won’t get you home! Removed the chrome door handles and mirrors! Much better.

My tires showed up! Ran these same tires on my 2017 Raptor and loved them. First thing I ordered once I picked up the truck.

Making note progress on the build!

The truck is lifted! BDS Suspension 3” Coilover kit. I opted for DSC Fox shocks, allowing me to adjust the ride quality.

    Tires are Falken AT3 35x12.5/r17.
Wheels are Method Grid. Offset is 0.

So far, I’m really happy with the lift/tires/wheel upgrades!

**Please note** I have a skid in the bed of the truck with two Jeep lift kits on it. So the rear does sit a little higher than pictured. The front is around 3/4" taller than the rear for now. Waiting to see if the front settles down some.

Made some more upgrades on the tundra.

Installed Matt Geako LED lights under the hood and in the bed. On the bed lights, I added a push switch to allow them to turn on and off with open and closing the tailgate.

Next, I added bushwhacked extended flares. They are perfect to cover the tires 100%. Personally I really like these trucks with black flares. Very happy with how they turned out!

Also ditched the old man factory steps. Going to begin prototyping sliders!

Do you have any pics of how you did the wiring and push switch for the tailgate. Really like that idea.

It’s nothing difficult. The switch is a ground, so instead of grounding the lights with a screw, I just hooked it up to the switch. I moved the rubber bumper down by drilling a new hole. Then installed the push switch in the hole where the bumper was.

I’m going to be using this truck a lot Offroad. Have two tailpipes hanging low was a no go. I still plan to hack hit tailpipe off before it goes behind the rear tire.
